So... already the first day of the New Year and I have a sad tale to tell. As most of you know Dave is mighty into computers so we have/had 4 computers in our home.
Netbook
Mac
Programming Lap top
3-D computer
I don't understand the need for all the computers it has been explained to me but I just smile and say whatever... if it aids in getting him the 4.0 that he gets repeatdly I am not going to complain as long as I have what I need in one of the computers I am fine. What I require in a computer is simple...
-A place to upload photos too, from phone and camera, and be able to access them to print off, or put on blogger etc.
-a good word document to type stuff up for church or my journal
-easy to use
-have at my disposal when needed
you see I don't need much to be happy but this past Thursday when we arrived home from Kennewick from Christmas these needs of mine were compromised when I began the upload from my camera and phone onto the Mac and it crashed... so I lost all the pictures from Christmas from my camera and since I didn't take any off my phone I was sad... We have an external hard drive and so the 7 years worth of pictures we have stored in I photo on the mac got backed up two weeks ago but everything else is Gone.... no hall way pictures, no happy Christmas mornign faces etc... so i get to make do with the pictures that my sister n law took, and other family members and the few that are on Dave's phone... I am sad but such is life. This photo is the one I am sending out with our Christmas cards... it was taken on Christmas at my Mother In Laws home. It was one of the ones we took of our family, I have been trying to hard to get a decent Christmas picture and finally got a decent one... so when Dave went into try and rescue the mac and I asked him to please try and get one picture off... and he got the wrong picture where there is joy in everyones faces.. so now everyone may think when they recieve our card... where is the Happy mason Family we all know and love... well we are here and alive and thrillingly happy just missed it in the picture...
So Dave asked me a tough question he asked me if I would prefer a new bigger cricut this year, or my Mac's hard drive repaired... this is a tough decision, as you can see... I answered him by saying I love my Mac I want a laptop some time all of my own but since everything I want off it is saved on the external hard drive I will survive with out the repair and be happy using one of the other three computers we have.
Well our family is alive and well and enjoying every bit of life that has been thrown at us. We have now lived int he same city for almost 2 years which is good for us but in the same ward is even better and we have moved our final move until Dave is finished with school. We were debating for a while and praying seriously about moving to Ellensburg and attending Central becasue we have been having some trouble with the school here but every time we would be about to finalize our descion something would pop up. We will be staying in cheney until late 2014 early 2015... life is getting more exciting by the minute...
well happy new year you will see our Christmas card soon1
