So today I decided to spice things up a bit and post my pictures backwards from last taken to first taken, instead of vice versa.
At Christmas time when the girls last had there matching dresses I wanted to have a special photo opp with them in there Christmas dresses for Christmas sunday but than doing it caused a bunch of problems and so I was out ruled and what we got wasn't what I wanted, so today when I got the girls ready for church in there new dresses I fore warned my husband that I wanted to stay after church and take some pictures in the grass of the girls in there dresses, he suggested that instead we just head to the temple and take pictures there... I love my husband!
Ignore my arm, but I love this picture, There dresses by the way is what was sewn together these last few days by me with help from my mom, I apparently picked an easy pattern but with extra difficulties, but was very pleased with the results. We even found Sami some spring sandals for $10 yesterday, and Daphne had some hand me down jelly sandals, that of course she hated wearing!
I think unplanned shots are the best!
Me and my girls, and yes I planned to match them, but I didn't make anything new. This is an older skirt that I wore for a friends wedding! But it matched them and so i was happy!
We have been trying to find more things to occupy Sami's time and so the TV isn't on 24/7 and so this week it was some stamping... she just thought it was fun to smear it all over her face, this is of her wiping off what she can on her hands with a wet wipe... so concentrated!
I got some sun catchers and she painted them, that was fun for her!
Daphne loves scooting, it's her new thing, she scoots across the couch, across the floor... on her back you name it she is a scooter! She was also pushing off the couch with her feet... But I quickly took this picture so I could move her, she is very good at rolling from her tummy to her back... and off the couch! And on the 23rd she turned 6 months! My baby is growing so fast... she is such a doll... I love making her smile and laugh. She always has her mouth open in happiness!
My big girl!
Latest obsession, plastic eggs. She got banned from her little chair because she was using it to stand on and reach my expensive vase that was displaying some plastic eggs! Well, it's been a stressful week. Dave had finals and finished Friday, so now he is done with school for about a week. He so far got an A in one class and got the second highest grade in his other class on the final... We had a great Saturday as a family celebrating his finish from school and we have many things planned for this week to enjoy his time off. For us, it's not just him finishing school, it's we are finishing the quarter because it's a group effort!
well have a good week and Happy Easter!
