I used to hate staying home with nothing to do because I just got so bored. I love it now... Well quite recently I think well since I became the 2nd counselor in the Primary Presidency in our ward, I have become a little more lax. When I say lax I don't mean that I just don't care, because it's me, i do care, but I try not to sweat the small stuff as much and focus on the more important things like my girls and making sure they are happy fed, and loved...
Speaking of, Daphne has started crawling, she gets EVERYWHERE. It's usually while following me, or to get to something she knows she can't have but, she is quite the mischevious little one. If she is not being naughty or sleeping she is eating... all the time... it's so different compared to Sami. After I put Sami down for her nap today I went to the bathroom and went into the other room, and left Daphne out by the toys since she was happy. I went out to check on her and she was startled by me, because she was into something she wasn't supposed to be into. Her sisters paints... I thought they were on the table but apparently not... they are watercolor and non toxic so I am not very worried... it was pretty funny, so of course a picture was taken!
I love digital cameras because if not than all my pictures would look like this...
Last night I put Sami to bed and she looked so pretty and peaceful so after she fell asleep for her nap I had to snap a picture...
She was tired after emptying out the foot stool of all these books.
She gets it from me, i was pretty tired last night after making this mess yesterday.
But why clean it up, I am not done... (that's my motto) you can tell where I have been working, scissors, glue, my smoother, water bottle... life is grand when your kitchen table is covered in crafts... it means you have been in a good creative funk... my husband is great he doesn't mind if the table is used for crafts... but we are eating dinner at home tonight so I guess I better go clear it off... that's the rule! So there ya have it... our lax messy abode. We do clean, I am constantly cleaning things and doing laundry but sometimes I just need a break, and after a good break I get back to it and the books are not on the floor, and the table isn't covered, but why sweat it... as I heard earlier this week from an experienced mom, "We live here, it's gonna have messy places!"
