Mud Puddle Playing!

I have never let them do this before... but they discovered the puddle before I could say no, so why not!

And another one on the way home!

When we got home I made them strip down and get in the bath...
the worst part was that it was Saturday and we had given them a bath that morning already... oh well! They had fun!

the odd ones...

Here are a couple random picture moments...

Ezra during a big boy bath... his favorite toy is covered the whole time... funny boy! When the girls are taking baths we have to keep racing to get him from going in there, he loves the bath tub, getting better at handling getting his face wet, but loves to splash and play!

David got this idea that Ezra needed some dinosaurs and so we went to Toys R us in search of some. He got 7 dinos in a bucket with some fake trees and rocks... and guess who plays with them... not Ezra, at least not yet... although, Daphne has learned to not put this bucket on her head... it doesn't come off to easily!

I know random... but my door wreath... still trying to decide what I want to put on it... hopefully when school has started and I have a chance to think I will come up with something cool, or at least cool to me! Im a bit nerdy at times with this sort of thing and definitely have my own style!
So, I go to the gym at Eastern at least 3-4 times a week try for 4-5 times... and I get in for cheap because Dave is a student but I have to renew my membership on campus, so that means a trip to campus once a month... so we park and than walk over... and I just tell Sami to run, she loves it she just runs and runs until I tell her stop...
When Dave graduates we will go on campus and take a ton of pictures but for now... this was fun!
After spending 3 hours on campus going from building to building and ending up at the gym it self where they now just handle everything to make it easy (it's about time), we visited the park... Ezra is such a good kid and just goes with the flow! So grateful for him... next year he will be harder as he will be the one running away and breaking down into emotional trauma but for now... I can handle his being so content and being happy!

Playing in the Water!

So yeah, Summer it here when the squirt guns come out, the sun block, and new swim suits are bought...

Can can you see how my girls swimsuits kind of match... not on purpose... crazy story behind that.

I went to Costco, one of my favorite places ever, and bought Speedo Swimsuits, size 6 for Sami, 4 for Daphne, got them home, and before I could even try them on them, they cut the tags off and out of the swimsuits... the manufacture tags... so I try them on, Daphne's is too small and Sami's is too small... so I gave Daphne Sami's and bought Sami a new swim suit from Walmart that I made her try on before we bought it... So there both blue because Sami's favorite color is blue and so there ya go! Note to self... buy clothes keep them out of kids reach until I know they fit!
Oh, and Daphne is wearing an Ear Bandit. A friend recommended it to me who's son has tubes, I got it off amazon for $15, it's made out of rubber type stuff, same as wet suits, and so it sticks pretty good to the head, it velcro's on, and I put her plugs in and the headband keeps the plugs in and gives extra protection to her ears, she doesn't put her head under the water, but it's only a matter of time. It slips off the ears so I have to keep track of her real good and fix it, she doesn't complain about wearing it, thank goodness, because she has been warned, you don't wear it you can't swim... they had many colors, but pink was the best selection and everyone compliments it!
This last week i discovered that sun block expires. And when it's expired it doesn't work too well... I walk around the house now with a back scratcher and have to cool my scratchy back with aloe... it doesn't hurt just itches. During the summers we have been here, we spend a lot of time at the wadding pool. It's Free, and right next to the big public pool. It's deep in the middle and shallow on the ends, you you can sit where ever.
I have been working out, can you tell? I like this picture it's my crowning achievement my arms... and shoulders... it pays to work out!
Yeah I gotta say I am one of the only moms from church that comes and has a low cut swim suit... but hey... it's not that revealing so whatever!
They always have a life guard in here, and the gates handle is out of reach to the kids, so it's perfect.

Each summer I have invested $2.50 each for floaty for the girls... it's well worth the 5 bucks, and I don't have to bring a bunch of little toys...
Sami's floaty is a toucan and is named "Butter"
Daphne's is a monkey and named "Slinky", they named them!
An attempt at a group shot... Ezra doesn't like the water as well when I am not in it with him, and so I usually am sitting in the pool, he loves going to the deep part and jumping up and down!

Hott Hott July!

So my theory is correct, summer in Cheney doesn't start until July. It's getting hotter, and today is the hottest it's been so far... 90 ish degrees. We had a pretty crazy filled day, but here are some fun photos since July started for us...
Ezra's not mad... he's concerned... mom's face is covered with a camera and he can't see her...
 cute fun loving crazy Daphne...
Poor Sami who was sick with the flu for 2 days... after the 2nd day mom and dad decided she needed to get off the couch and eat. We bribed her with a trip to the toy store to see mermaid... it worked.
Going out on the town... protecting him from the sun... such a cute hat.. i love it!
With David working a lot more and not being home as much I am going crazy keeping them out of my hair and so many trips to the park are going to happen... Daphne is getting more daring and climbed this climbing wall...

Daphne plays until she drops... i love how she has her legs straddling the bed frame, and she has her head on a little pillow... another time she was playing and me and Dave were talking and all of a sudden I look down and she had fallen asleep mid play and she was sitting on my foot...
Ezra's favorite thing with when mom is too tired to sit up and nurse him in the morning and nurses him in bed... he gets to be as close to her as possible and fall asleep and usually sleeps for a good 3 hours... so cute!
Finally some ground time... he is always looking at the windows light... it must remind him of heaven...
all cozy and comfy sleeping... i love his hand placement... so cute!
Finally took the girls to the pool... i think we will be there a lot this summer... me and Ezra sat in the shade and the girls played and played... i think i will spend days there this summer... because it keeps them busy and it's cool..

Finally caught his smile in a picture... he was actually laughing in this one... but his real smile is much bigger... but they are quick...
Daphne was invited... to a Chuck E Cheese party and the girls older sister is Sami's best friend and so we all went... it was a exhausting day... well few hours... Ezra on my chest in a pouch, and the girls running amuck... Daphne just runs around on her own... it was a rough time for me... and it was so hott with a hott baby on my chest I sweat the whole time... but it was fun and I was grateful to the friends for letting us all participate in the party since it was about 30 min away from home.

Doing What We Do Best!

Summer nights, filled with lots of book reading...
Summer Days filled with trips to the various stores to look at Mermaid and other Disney Princesses.
Trips to Zips for a 99cent ice cream cone...
Helping dad play his games...
hitting up garage sales than the park before it gets too hott...
We will be sad to see the warmth go away, but it happens every year like clock work, and so such is life. 90 degree weather with out a a/c or a swamp cooler is just not enjoyable... 70's weather is what I enjoy best! I actually have energy to get stuff done.
Well Dave's school starts on the 21, Sami's school and ballet start on the 12, and our next trip to Kennewick will be the first weekend in October for the Fall Event... life is good, and interesting and definitely keeps you on your toes!
