Lets Go Fly a Kite!

Here it is the PX where Dave works. Well He works next to the PX on the base.. he works at the GNC and today was there grand-reopening of some of the stores in the mall because they had a remodel and so Dave was out being busy!
Here he is.. all rearing and ready to go... he got some good bonuses today which will help pay his hour of commute every day... it's crazy... but he does a great job and the store that was suffering is now coming up on top... I have married myself a great Salesman!
So I went outside to put some stuff in our outside storage closet and realized despite the wind and overcast it was a dang nice day... in fact our apartment was colder than outside... so I got the girls shoes on and we went outside to play. After chasing Daphne into the street a few times, I put the monkey back pack on her and she was content for awhile. The yard is covered in pine needles and so she didn't like that much. I want to get like a temporary fencing like that orange plastic stuff that I have seen at construction sites.. anyone know where I can get that. OUr whole yard is bordered in trees. Spaced of course.
After getting fed up with Daphne I put her down for a nap, cracked some windows and we pulled out Sami's Ariel kite I got her...
She had a great time... we need to go to a park and get a more durable kite so she can see how it really should be. I could have it flying for about 5 seconds before it would crash... unless I was running against the wind.
Here are some views of our house...
From the door step.
side yard and car port
sidewalk to the connivence gas station...
Our yard of trees and the main street in town... a bit nerve racking!
The back of the house...
There's this old swingset and so we went and played on it for a bit...
It was one of those teeter tooters... but I am too heavy so I evened it out with my hand... she enjoyed it..
Views in our back windows... the kitchen... with my family letters in the window seal.
The bathroom... I was curious how see through it is and well it's bubble glass but you can still tell there is a shampoo bottle and a cup and so I need a curtain asap!
OH and the highlight for anyone that lives in Cheney... that hourly rumble at your feet...
That is sometimes short and sometimes long
well here we are.. a train...
This isn't the entire thing but hey... I did pretty good... you can't really see it... but you can see the distance from our house to the tracks... this is how it is for most people and businesses in town...
going...
going...
Finally... such relief... well for about 50 minutes until the next one passes through... seriously... I told Sami that one of these days we are going to take an adventure and go on a bus ride into Spokane... because the bus picks up on the left side of this picture... And she said... ride a train... I told her no that one carries oil, and rocks and food... (ya know to be honest I don't really no much else than the oil) it just seems all graffiti
Hope your enjoying my tours of our life in Cheney. I did 4 posts in one day because we finally got our internet up and running last night and so I had a lot to catch up on...
