We have been busy!

We have had quite the busy past couple of weeks. We moved from our tiny 2 bedroom 1 bath to our 3 bedroom 2 bath, that is practically a brand new house. Once I am all moved in I will take some pictures and show it off, it's a great space and will do more than suit us for the next 2 years we will be living in Cheney.
the girls are loving there new surroundings and tell everyone who will listen that they have a new house.... Daphne doesn't smile very often for the camera, but since she is in her carseat she doesn't have a choice... so cute... the pony tail works for part of the day... until she takes it out, her hair is starting to get so long on top that it's almost necessary for her to have a little pony on top. We call her our fountain top....
We had a good day to where it wasn't snowing or raining and so I had the girls go play on our inclosed back porch with there trikes and bikes... while I got some things unpacked... they had fun.
Than the next day we woke up to this... I'm not quite sure if this will be our last snow for the season but I am really hoping so since this week the weather has been in the 50-high 60's... which feels hotter because we are higher...
Sami has been doing really well in preschool this year and is all registered for kindergarten to start in September. I am super excited for her, going to miss her help but she needs to be kept busy with how much she wants to learn. She is constantly wanting to do something with letters, and if it's not watching "Word World" or "Leap Frog" than she is writing letters, or playing with letters. She is getting pretty good I am so impressed, and proud! I've been told that a lot of kids don't learn how to write there letters let alone know there alphabet going into kindergarten... I am not surprised she is just a smart girl!
6 weeks pregnant... counting down... everyone says it's all in my belly... I wish that meant that it would leave my belly faster... but even a year from now I will still get asked if i am pregnant or not... loosing weight stinks and I am dreading what I will be left with after Ezra's debut... but of course am excited about it!
Easter Sunday... since we had just moved it wasn't a big to do, like I normally try and do it. I bought them new dresses, got them Easter bunny gifts, and we had an egg hunt. I just put up my decorations and they enjoyed removing the window clings a lot... I will just keep the decorations up until June... than we will move on...
Daphne never looks at the camera... Sami got Mermaid aka Ariel and Daphne got Belle... our other mermaid broke... so we had to replace her of course...
In our new house we have a 3rd bedroom which is my craft desk room, and Ezra's room.
That has been the last room except for a few random boxes and pictures to hang on the wall... we shoved everything we didn't know where to put in that room, and since I am eager to get crafting I have been digging out when I have the energy.
This last week I made his dust ruffle for his bed, and than finished the car seat cover... I am now working on some blankets and than I will move onto making cards... thank you cards, and than invites for Sami's birthday which will be here very fast after Ezra arrives.
Well I must end this entry Ezra is getting so large that the pressure on my blood veins for circulation doesn't last long with out my hands falling asleep... seriously what a pain... I have stopped rolling over in my sleep so I stay on my one side but i have to constantly make sure my arms aren't curled up but laid out straight so that they don't fall asleep what a Pain!
Hope everyone is enjoying there nice weather... I am definitely!

Pool Fun!!!

Since I had kids I wanted to have a kiddie pool for the back yard... well up until now we haven't really had a back yard, we still don't really but it's enough. So every couple of days or so i take the girls out back and fill the pool up and let them play. They love the water in the bathtub so getting used to the pool is much different... I was a little fish when I was small even when I couldn't get my ears wet, i still am when it's appropriate!
Just thought I would share some cute pictures of the girls swimming. Daphne is wearing Sami's old suit and Sami is wearing a new one made for 5T but it's gotta be big because she is so tall but in some areas it is a tad baggy... I don't mind... buying new suits each year for her is no biggie since I know her sister will wear it later... gotta love hand me downs! Besides there so cute you can't pass up a new suit every year. I am going to be purchasing myself a new suit since once Dave starts school we will be able to swim at the school pool (indoor) whenever...
I hope everyone is enjoying the sun and remember always wear sunscreen!

July!

So it's finally summer here we have nice 80 degree weather most days, accompanied by a breeze most days, it's great. We are enjoying it as much as we can because we know as soon as September hits it will start to cool down and than snow will soon follow... it's fantastic!
Dave got the girls to build a tent and it was one that Mom was not allowed in...
They love to play the guitar!
We were early to my doctor's apt in Spokane Valley and so the girls had some fruit snacks and I snapped some fun pictures!
On the 4th we didn't do tons that was picture worthy. We went to our ward 5k walk and pancake feed, came home took naps, went to Taco Bell for lunch, went to the store to get essentials, came home, I took the girls in there pool, and I made oven fried chicken and apple crisp and we watched Iron Man 2...
Sorry the pictures are so dark... but we had the place all to ourselves... Dave was Capt America for the day!
Yesterday we went into town and took Sami to her 4 year old well child. She got 4 shots and did pretty well, she is getting better at this doctor thing. Her legs are still a little sore and I know they will be but she leaves her bandaids alone...
We gave her oreo's and a green popsicle to soothe her pain.
We were watching a show while I waited to go to Young Women's... Daphne was bugging her dad while he was trying to draw...
My girls are becoming the greatest of pals... they love to watch shows together especially Dora and the Disney Movies, and they love to eat the same things, and play with each other... Daphne is learning to handle some of Sami's playing a lot better and they are forming a great bond, it's such a blessing I love my girls!

Just Trying to Fit In!

This was a few Sunday's ago... My mom made those t-shirt toppers and I got so many compliments on them... I love them... so than I made some skirts to go with them for church... so cute! Daphne had just woken up... she has been really cranky as of late!
We often walk down to the grocery store and pick up a few things and on the way there some lilacs I found had bloomed... so pretty! We have some in our back yard that haven't bloomed yet so when they do I will cut me some for my house. I noticed further down the road is some poppy's so I am going to cut some of those this week.. I don't think anyone will mind! That is the beauty of living in the forrest some things are just wild! You'd be amazed at how many wild daisy's etc I see just scattered everywhere... no one notices or cares... but they are missing out!
We are trying to find our groove in Cheney still... it always takes me at least 6 mo to a year to feel like I fit in and have some good solid friends that I see more often... so I am not getting to bummed yet. There are only 2 family wards in Cheney and the 1st ward has a play group that invites our ward the 2nd ward to. They hold it in the gym and you bring toys for your kids and than just let them play! It is fun! Sami once again kinda keeps to herself but I know as time goes on she will get better. We are leaning towards having her birthday party next month in Kennewick just because she hasn't really made any friends here to have a party with! In due time! Poor girl!
Daphne had a great time snagging peoples toys... I had to keep taking this scooter away from her... it's obvious to everyone but her that she is too small for this toy! Silly girl!
Daphne's new friend Athena brought this big yellow ball... it's awesome we need one...
Sami spent most of her time building blocks and making small talk with Eian who is in her class but equally as shy. I kept telling her, hey go play with those girls... but she never complained... but she is a lot like her dad looking for a piece of paper to draw on... she had fun, and was glad we went... I told her this will be a weekly thing. I think she is looking forward to it
Everyone's super nice here but I am divided I just miss my friends in Kennewick so much it's hard for me... but I am adjusting. We are heading up to my parent's property this weekend for Memorial Day and than hopefully I will be in Kennewick in 2 weeks for a night to throw a party for Sami, we will see...
I will possibly be doing a post tomorrow it all depends if my surprise pulls through... I guess you'll find out!

Home Again, Home Again, Jiggety Jig

So Thursday bright and early my mom and Torrie showed up at my doorstep to collect me and the girls for the weekend in Kennewick. We got loaded up and headed to the Spokane Valley mall... you see Torrie needed a bribe! I wasn't upset... any excuse to shop is fine by me. We had a lot of fun in the Down East Basics shop, and while we were there we overheard the girl talking about the store opening in the Kennewick Mall... SWEET!!! bout time! So now our favorite store! We had some lunch and than headed back. The girls slept most of the way and cuddled with me the rest of the way, (I was sitting in between them)
We dropped Torrie off at home and got out of the car at my moms and this is the first thing I saw... what a beautiful sight... and it was warm... not snowing... it was pure delight!
Me and the girls went out side to bask in the warmth and had a great time.
Thursday we hung out and than went and had dinner at McD's with my mom and got some snacks at Target. Than we put the girls to bed (or at least tried) and than started setting up for the event!
Friday was a busy busy day... we spent the day setting up and getting everything ready for our first night for the event... Daphne wasn't much help the only time I got anything done was when she was down for a nap. It rained the whole day so outside play was not going to happen. Rachel my dear dear friend and cousin picked up the girls at 4 and watched them for the night while I was at the event, it was great.
We ordered pizza for dinner and it was delicious!
Here are a few of the top sellers for the event!
My easter egg countdown!
My mom's "Old Glory" patriotic blocks!
Mothers Day and Fathers Day stuff!
These super cute recipe holders that my mom made!
Pray blocks!
Military plaques by Kim
And the Easter carrot that sold out so fast!
And of course enjoying Abigail... no she wasn't for sale... but she sure was cute to play with! Even when she pooped on my clothes!
After the event ended Saturday afternoon, we just kinda hung out at my parents house watching shows and relaxing and cleaning up after the event. Sunday we went to sacrament with my mom in the branch, than we came back and loaded up and headed home. We were home by around 3...
Just before church Sami was sitting at the kiddie table in the basement and I had just walked upstairs when I hear this hurt crying. I run down stairs thinking something simple when I noticed her caught between the chair and the table... I got her up stairs and discovered her nose was bleeding. After a lot of crying (poor girl) and getting to church we noticed that her nose was swollen and her upper lip was really puffy. After getting home I discovered her upper lip, by her gums is completely black and blue... poor girl... she was so sick! She slept the entire way back, and has kinda been out of sorts since!
I brought the event home with me... Oh and before I left Cheney for the event my friend Lin cut and styled my hair... I have cutie bangs now!
I bought this headband from my sister Torrie... it's super cute!
And of course I had to have some Easter Blocks!
Here is where it all went when I got home... I went with this and 2 boxes and came home with this and no boxes... success!
Now to get ready for Easter!
Catch up on laundry!
And spend my earnings....
since I have no car I wanted to get a bike trailer for my bike and use that to get around Cheney, this summer... but I don't know when that's going to start. We went to Walmart Monday and we went in the store and 20 min later came out and this is what we found...
A nice layer of snow everywhere!
I mean everywhere...
I think the girls got worn out this weekend.. because they sleep A LOT lately!
Tuesday though Daphne was feeling better and was having a great time teasing her sister. Sami was playing and Daphne would put her leg over the couch and Sami would get mad so she would move it than she'd do it again... it was funny! Daphne was obviously bored!
