Picture Fun at the Park

I posted some of these pictures already but as you can tell, there were so much more. Looking at these great photos makes me want to get a better camera or just fix mine would even be great... I am not going to be all commentary on these photos because they tell the story themselves... but my kids are beautiful!

She's getting so good at climbing... sometimes it scares me but hey if she falls than she learns, she hasn't yet, and I keep a really close eye on her... she is growing up despite her hair not growing fast enough...
My son of many faces... so funny!

My niece Abby trying to put his binkie in his mouth... ha ha ha!

I love his feet... besides his cute face his feet are my favorite thing... they don't freak me out like his long fingers do... he grabs my fingers with a good grip with those toes...
Some of my favorite pictures of myself are ones when I am not looking...

 such cute girls...

she is not jealous of all of her little brother... she loves him so much, she always makes sure he is happy and she knows where he is... she is so cute with him...
The essence that is Sami... I think at this point she was playing tag with some little random park boy... he was cute and her age...
Such a beautiful girl... we are in trouble when she gets older...

I love having three kids... in no hurry any time in the next 3-4 years to have a 4th, but loving them! Never a dull moment with them!

September 1st

Dave's been super busy this week with a manager store visit and so he has been working long hours, glad to see those go away once school starts, but such is life right.
I have to get the girls out of the house at least once a day or they drive me crazy and we all loose our cool and end up resulting to movie after movie, but when it's 75 degrees outside we can't stay inside, and so i loaded them up and we hit the park. But it was dinner time unfortunately so we just had to stop off at Taco Bell and grab a $2 meal deal and a cheese roll-up, life is good when you can get food to feed 3 for $3.15. Awesome!
They have this awesome teeter tooter... Daphne enjoyed it...
Always a slide girl..
Daphne hung out by the pretend cash register for a bit while she pooped her pants twice... yuck!
We had the play ground to ourselves and so it was perfect we stayed a hour. Here she is eating the rest of her cheese-roll up
My delightful self portrait... sun in my eyes in all... i hung out on the teeter tooter, it's awesome!
Before we left we all got on the teeter tooter and sang songs...
When we got home, Sami fell asleep on the couch and I finished there quiet books,
Dave got home around 7:30 and we put the girls to bed and played "Ms. Explosion Man" pinball... and I exercised.... it was a good end of the day!

Croup & Sillyness!

So this is old information... but figured I would still share it...
A couple of weeks ago I went to Safeway and they had these huge boxes of strawberries and the strawberries were huge so I bought 3 boxes since they were like $4 a box and made my first batches of strawberry jam! It is delicious. The entire time I made it though I was thinking about Monica from FRIENDS and her plan to get over her man! And how Joey would take a jar of jam with him to the movie theater... yeah you like it if you like FRIENDS!!!
It made 27 jars... 17 8oz, and 10 16oz... so dang good! All freezer jam. I gave some away to my ladies I visit teach and the rest is just awaiting to be eatten! Yummy!
Here is the sillyness... I have curtains instead of closet doors because in such small space it really does make a difference... well Daphne loves to play in them... if you look really close you can see her face through the curtain... she is so funny!
A few weeks ago it was nice outside and so I decided to find out how far away Zips was on my bike. So I loaded up the girls and we rode there, it wasn't half bad. I deserved the food after I got there...
The girls had popcorn chicken and I ordered a sandwich trying to be good and well... the chicken was just too good and the fry sauce... yummy!
Than I had found a new park and so I drove them up to it, and let them play...
Later that week I was reading a book where this girl has to pick out her wedding dress and it made me want to see if mine fit since I have been dieting and exercising and can see my back dimples again I figured why not..
it fit everywhere except the back would not zip up... least I have a goal! I love that dress it's a bummer I only wore it one day!
So pretty I couldn't resist!
So my kids have never had croup but one day Daphne was barking like a dog and so I pulled out my trusty kids sickness book and discovered she has croup and of course steaming her would be the best solution. So one night I turned on the shower and sat with her and the room filled with steam. It was working great... than she decided she wanted to look in the tub and before I knew it she had climbed it. She wasn't complaining and so I just let her stay in there until the water got to cold to be effective...
This girl is growing like a weed... but her hair is not... I can sometimes get it to stick up... but she is so cranky all the time and she used to be so good. Usually she will wake up from her nap and be happy... lately she wakes up I give her 10 min and than I put her back in bed... she falls back asleep so apparently she needed it!
Sami vying for my attention... so cute girl and so smart... I can't believe that she is 4 soon! When did that happen?

Packing and 60 degree weather!

It's been a whirlwind lately in our home...
I stack where I can stack and we live around it...
Saturday it was nice and Sami has been begging me to take her to the park and so I decided we would go. We hit up the store to grab picnic munchies and headed to the park...
Daphne kept trying to crawl off the end of the play area... she thinks she is invincible
My tall Sami... running off to the next fun thing
We got Capri Suns, oreos, cheese sticks, and pringles. I ate a chicken ceasar salad... and we shared a twix!
Daphne hate this step... most of the time she would get down and back over it on her knees
She was being a grump she didn't like the fact that I restricted her to the stairs she could climb and the little slide. But once she started going down it with her sister she enjoyed it!
She kept crawling through the tunnel and I caught her face but than she of course had to point at the camera! Silly girl!
I love my girls... they make the days rough sometimes (Sami) but it makes me less nervous about moving to a strange city because I have them. They will help me to fit in. Last night our home teacher came for one last time and he shared the message with us about taking the right perspective either glass half full or half empty. It was just the lesson I needed to hear. After being in the Primary Presidency for such a short time I have learned to be more outgoing and I know it has helped paved the way for it to be easier for me in our new ward. I hope there friendly I hope they are nice, and not insulting... I hope I make the best of it instead of mope around.
I know there is always going to be situations where I get my feelings hurt, you can't avoid those, those happen even when you think people are good enough friends they wouldn't do that. That's just how life goes. In my 30 years I have had my feelings hurt a lot, whether it be my marriage status (pre-marriage), who I dated, where we are living, how much money my husband makes, how much I weight, how cool I dress, if my kids are potty trained etc... most of that stuff I can't help. I love my life and someday I will have the good life but than I will still have my own challenges of not fitting in etc... but in the end... having close friends is nice, but it's not really what matters... what matters most is ME... and how I deal with things.
Wish me luck and please keep in touch with me!
