Valentines Day and more!

Isn't being a mom great... you get to sit home sometimes all day in your pjs and watch movies, drink pop, eat popcorn, and read whenever you please. Yes I love all that but what I don't love about being a mom is the screaming, fighting, poppy diapers, wiping pee of the floor, getting snot rubbed on my shirt, never quite knowing what exactly has been in there mouth or on there hands... but I wouldn't trade any of it for anything... I love my life and so I take pictures when there are moments that make it all worth while... Dave takes pics too!
Daphne.... cute Daphne always in a good mood, even though earlier this morning she had thrown up in her bed... yeah! Gotta love being a mom! Sami already for her Valentine's Day Party with her friends, and trying out Dads guitar! this girl loves her letters... I got these foam letters at the dollar store... they are awesome but they have to be played with at the table or we have letters all over our house... we are still missing the i and the l.... Valentines Day morning I had to go get some blood tests done... they didn't come back well... I have high cholesterol... low fat diet here I come... but I came home with balloons for the girls and doughnuts for us all... we had to celebrate the day.
Dave took the day off except for class he had that night, and we left the girls with our neighbor and went to Red Robin for lunch. We filled up on appetizers and so we were too full for our lunch and so we took it to go... I won't be eating beef for a good long while after this! it was fun to be by ourselves. Afterwards we took the Suzuki to vacuum it out... it hasn't been cleaned out for awhile and since it no longer carries children we decided we should clean it up... My banana girl... or as Sami would say it... bananana! She is so funny... she always asks for a big banana meaning she wants a whole one... this day she wouldn't even let me open it for her... silly girl! I treated the girls to waffles yesterday morning... there favorite! We got this sleeper as a hand me down from my sister and it's huge... it's so funny to see her walk around in it... they must think that 18 mo olds are really round... Sami got several "Fun Dips" as Valentines and she has never had them before so yesterday during Daphnes nap I pulled out two packs and showed her how... she ate on it for about an hour.. it took me 10 min... it was fun! She didn't like it when I ate the dipping stick... that is actually my favorite part! When I was younger I didn't know you could eat it for the longest time! My Irish sign... I am part Irish... My mom gave me these cool letters... I am a huge fan of decorating for holidays! And of course window clings! Enjoying our Fun Dips together!

My girls got fun dips this year too, nut they just wanted to dump the sugar out in a bowl and eat it that way.
Oh the irony of finding out you have high cholesterol and eating donuts...not that I'm any better at avoiding donuts. Yum!
Andy always says that he does celebrate St. Patrick's Day because he's not Irish and doesn't drink, so he doesn't see the point. So, how Irish are you???

cute, cute, cute!! I love decorating for the holidays too. And Caleb and Lina LOVE fun dips... they got a bunch for Halloween last year and now they're hooked, haha.

Sorry about your blood tests... I have "borderline" high cholesterol but it's because it runs in my family. I just had another blood test and my count has gone down quite a bit in the last 6 months, just from changing my diet to fit more of what John can eat (he's allergic to wheat, dairy, and nuts). So we have chicken, rice and fresh fruits and veggies a lot. Hope you can get yours under control! :)
