This entry I missed but it was supposed to come before our new van entry!
Well my girls have been extra crazy lately.
This is the work of Daphne... dumping all the books out of the otoman and all over the ground. She looks at each one... sometimes just at the cover sometimes she opens and sits down and reads through a book, but than over her shoulder it goes to the floor! She is a speed reader!
Silly Sami... we had quite the scare with her earlier this week. I believe Saturday... well Dave was at work and about on his way home. I was watching "Love Happens" and Daphne and Sami were playing. We moved our kiddie play table to under the window and so they play toys on it still and such, but they are not aloud to get on top of the table, well Sami disobeyed and fell off the table and hit her head. When She fell I turned around, not wanting to get up and said.. your ok, get up. But there was no stopping with the alligator tears, so I did what a good mom should do I went over and picked her up, I noticed that on David's guitar there was a few hairs that had gotten stuck on the guitar, so I figured she hit her head there. As I was calming her down I thought to myself, I wonder what I would do if I put my hand to her head and it was wet and I felt blood. So than i did just that and pulled my hand back and it had a nice layer of blood on it. I started to panic. This has never happened before, so I didn't know what to do. I tried calling Dave to make sure he was on his way home and when he didn't answer I called my neighbor Siena. Through the crying of two girls she understood to come up and she came right away. She helped me calm down and see the damage. When a head bleeds, it sure bleeds. Well there were no stitches needed and the bleeding stopped pretty fast, but I was sure scared! Thanks so much Siena you are amazing!
Both my girls had colds one right after the other. Sami's was a cough and slight runny nose and Daphne had the runny nose watery eyes... but as you can tell she didn't mind much!
Your guess is as good as mine... she is so silly sometimes! Wait, no all the time. Her favorite thing to say lately as an answer to something I ask her to do (like go potty) is
"I guess not mom" i say that sometimes when I say hey Sami, if you do this than you get this... and when she refuses I say well i guess not... such a sponge. Tonight we were reading scriptures and besides being ultra cute repeating some scripture words we tell her she says while putting her scriptures away, I said " you can do it" she said "no mom I can't do it, but you can do it" it sounded so cute with her little voice. I went to a ready for Kindergarten work shop last night and it said that by the time your child enters kindergarten they usually know close to 5,000 words... It seriously made me think... if I actually know 5,000 words... but Sami is getting so good at her words and saying stuff she still jabbers a ton but I am excited to see how much better she will be come fall 2012 when she starts kindergarten!
That's my girl! (right after this she threw it on the ground)
I got these cute V-day shirts at Old Navy for $5 a piece they are so cute... I love having my girls match!
Oh and they also had a Little Mermaid shirt at Old Navy that of course we had to get. She had an accident today and peed on her shirt and so she was sad... it's a bribery tool in our house now... it's affective this girl loves the little mermaid! And we found a new mermaid doll! Wow... we have so much mermaid... I don't mind it's better than Dora for me!
