We had a very busy and fun filled day. You should be proud of me, usually I bite off more than I can chew and set my sites too high for things to accomplish in one day and even though I am bothered by it I didn't today. I cut out not cleaning my mom's house which I know I would probably had time for but would have been grumpy by not getting enough time to get stuff done if I did it.
Since Daphne came in to our lives we have decided (Dave & Me) that we have 2 kids we can split them up and divide and conquer. This tactic works for us a lot. Most families with more than one kid is already pros at this but we are becoming very good at it. At church one takes one, and one takes the other. I want to go run an errand or Dave does and the whole family isn't going usually a child goes too to make the one staying home not a stressed (which with a 2 year old is basically all the time). Today we had to do a major divide and conquer. You see We had a baptism at 1 and a nutcracker ticket for 2. Ok before I talk more about it I will explain. My little sister and my brother who is the oldest in our family so 1 and 5 child danced in the party scene of the nutcracker this year there 3rd year in a row. You see Mrs. Torrie as her students call her has been in the nutcracker since she was 7 or 8 and so now that she is a teacher she is still in the nutcracker and just is a parent in the party scene at the very beginning. She needed a partner and her husband didn't want too I guess, and so her brother did it, and he actually enjoys it. Just don't ever ask him if he wears a jock because he doesn't he wears a tux, very different!
Well... I had been wanting to go because I enjoy seeing it and haven't seen it since I got married and so my sis-n-law bought me a ticket and so I was so way excited to go. Than later we found out my niece Rebecca Bishop was getting baptized around the same time and so Dave and Sami would go to that (no way I was going to try and get Sami to sit through the nutcracker) and me and Daphne went to the Nutcracker. She sat on my lap and watched, slept and ate through it so she was perfect. And she was free. So that was our day.
I told Dave to take some pictures and he did a good job I was happy. This is Sami with her cousin, Choloe and Rebeeca Bishop. Rebecca in white got baptized.
Here is the Bishop family. Shelly the mom is Dave's sister. She is #3 and he is #4 so they were around each other a lot growing up.

NaDell my sis-n-law took some pictures of us... very fun. Here we are about to go sit in our seats posing next to a very large Nutcracker.
Here we are in our seats waiting for it to start. I got a new Christmas sweater, I love wearing red at Christmas time is just puts me in the mood. And Daphne in Sami's Christmas dress from her first Christmas. Tells you how different they were in weight. Daphne is almost 3 mo and when Sami wore this dress she was 6 mo. I wasn't going to let a perfectly cute dress go to waste. And I made her head band. Its a piece of ribbon that matches her dress and I tied it in a knot than stuck a flower in it with a brad, it stayed on the whole time. Pretty cute!
Here's the girls waiting to go make ginger bread houses. Sami opened an early present from Grandpa Mason. We opened our presents from him. Food storage, and a political book. Last year he gave us the Christmas Sweater by Glen Beck and so I was curious if it was a Christmas book and so I opened it, oh well. Sami's book is super cute and she took it to bed with her tonight... that girls bed is filled with books. It has a button the makes noise... Finding Nemo! Do you like Daphne's boots. I pulled them out. Another thing that fits her fine that fit Sami when she was 6 mo old. She got those from her cousin for Christmas I think it was Blake... so cute...
If you can't tell here I am again matching me and my girls... hey you gotta wear Red at Christmas time. Daphne's shirt was Sami's when Sami was 6 mo old... it's cute...
Sami's shirt isn't really Christmasy but it is now...

Sami's shirt isn't really Christmasy but it is now... In our ward there are a lot of young couples like us with 2 kids just about the same age as ours. Seriously there are like 4 or 5 boys that are Sami's age and she is the only girl and than they are all having girls or have had girls that are close to Daphne's age it's so funny. Well they have been doing it for awhile and so this was our first one we got invited to. It was fun. We built houses and talked and ate candy. I over did it on candy but it was fun. I think we do them once a month and I think from now on we are kinda in charge. Oh man! I took our camera but didn't take a picture but someone else did so we will see what it looks like when I get it! It was a lot of fun. Even 2 couples that used to be in the ward but aren't anymore still come!
Ok so we were getting Sami ready for bed and we used to never let her run around naked but now she gets away from us in mid changing... here's a picture of her cheek hanging out of her diaper... Target brand diapers are the only ones that fit her still... this girl needs to be potty trained.... Before this she had stood up with her pants around her ankles and was trying to run and kept falling over it was so funny... but when I saw the cheek I had to snap a picture... she is running and so that's why it's such a bad angle!

Hope your staying warm and I secretly hope the snow keeps coming (don't tell my husband) because I want to go play in it with Sami. She is loving it already.
Have a good week and will write later of course!

I'm so glad you were able to come with us. We had a great time.
I so bad to go see the nutcracker this year. We've just been so busy and with my mom and the kids sick it just wouldn't work. But I would still like to shoot for going to the Cathedral of Joys nativity this year. And I didn't know you were related to the Bishops. Cool cool. =) By the way you guys look so cute.
