I decided to post some fun pictures as a dedication to Father's today.
This is my dad at my cousins wedding last year, with Sami of course. My dad has always been such a great dad. Growing up he always had the best things to say and the best arms to get a hug from. During my college years he always gave me the best advice and supported me a lot in what I desired to do. When I decided to go to school he backed me up and reaffirmed my answer to my prayers I got to go. And when things were just wrong and I called to see if i could drop out and come home he gave me the answer that I didn't think he would give and let me come home. He had the best patience with me when i totaled my car, and he figured out how to get it fixed. He has always been a good example with his church work and has worked hard. He was a bishop for 6 years than on the high council and helped with the temple stuff. And than he worked in the temple for a year. He is getting closer and closer to his retirement and so now you can find him up at his property getting things done. That is what he thinks about all the time and he loves it. It will be there vacation home. Thanks dad your the best!
This is quite an old picture. I guessing Dave is 6 or something close to that, at a scout thing with his Dad. Jeff is a great dad to David. There were a few years there that David didn't talk to his dad but after we met and got engaged he got back in touch with him and took us to dinner the night before we got married and supported us and was in the temple when we were married and sealed. He lives in Oregon and so we don't see him that often but he keeps in good touch with us. We went to dinner with him Wednesday night along with Dave's sister Emily and her husband Chris before they left for Colorado. It was a good visit as always.

And now this is my husband the father of 1 about to be the father of 2. I gotta tell you this man is a saint and has dealt with a very difficult wife, but don't get me wrong he can be difficult as well. I took this yesterday morning and tried not to get to much in the picture... but he works very hard to make us happy and make sure we have the things we need. Ever since we have been together he has had a full time job and providing for our needs. He is very spiritual and reminds me to pray.

He takes on a lot right now being the husband of an hormonal, moody prego wife and does it well. He has taken many of phone calls with me telling him how crappy the day is going or how sick I feel and can't get away from the toilet. He loves Sami and is very helpful so that I don't have to chase her as much. He makes life worth living and is the best that I could ever have hoped for. He is my other half and he always says the right thing.
I thought for a long time on what to make the father's for there presents and so i came up with something I know they will like. I didn't have two of the same thing and so they contain the same pictures but in different form. I had a great time making these and I hope that the dad's enjoy them as well.
Ok to finish this entry up... sorry so long bare with me.

Ok to finish this entry up... sorry so long bare with me. We had Sami's party yesterday at Lawrence Scott Park and it was windy of course which made it bearable but it was hard to keep the food in tack. Here is the spread as we waited for our guests to show up. Last year we had hamburgers and hot dogs but this year we decided to make it easy and we had cup cakes, pop, chips and dip, candy, watermelon, cookies, and chicken salad. It was successful and we didn't come home with a whole lot of left overs.
Here is Sami opening her gifts from her guests. She had a great party the present wrapping was a hard task because she didn't want to move on to the next one she wanted to play with them. But we got through it.
She does a good job of saying Thank You and so we tried to get her to say it to everyone and sometimes it happened and sometimes not.
It was windy as you can tell by my hair and I love this picture. The little girl in the blue dress is my friends daughter and it looks like she is shadowing me.
We got her a total of 6 gifts and I had saved 2 of them to take to the party for her to open there, and I forgot them and so when we got home we did the honors. This is the cutest doll. Her name is Dressy Daisy. She has wire clothes and velcro flowers that go in her hair. She is so cute. She got several dolls but this is my favorite of course.

Well before I end I decided I would up date everyone. We got the notice this week that our landlords that rent us this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom mobile home and charge us $515 are going to start asking for more because there situation has changed. They raised our rent to $700 and so we will be moving out by the end of August.
At first our plan was to move out in March after the winter quarter of school was over and our debt was completely paid off, than we could afford a new car (well used) and a 3 bdr place and pay $750 like for a duplex. But after this experience we decided that we should just live with in our means. Not have the best thing our money can afford but to have something that works and is comfortable. We have learned to scale back since we have been married. Going from 2 cell phones to 1. 2 cars to 1, and you know what it works, we see a lot more of eachother. We have 2 cell phones now, but Dave's is his work one he doesn't pay for and mine is a pay as you go phone that costs us at most $45 a month as opposed to $70 and going over our minutes.
So we have decided that we can make it work for a long time to live in a 2 bedroom apartment with the 2 girls in the same room. Yes it will be a challenge with the different bed times and a new born waking up a lot at night but I am up for it and I am excited to get things comfortable. As of right now we don't know about the 2nd car we will get there some day. But we are college students and have at least 3 years left so frugal is how we will live. And #3 child unless it's a surprise we will not try for until the school is done or almost.
So that's our update I have been starting to tell people and it's a confusing feat but we feel good about our decision and know we can get into a 2 bedroom for under $600.

That's quite the hike in rent! I don't blame you! We happen to have 3 bedrooms here, but I've honestly thought about having our two share a room. Tate's toddler bed is next to the crib and they just fit so well together. I know the sleep may be a hassle, but maybe Sami will become a lovely deep sleeper if she's not already =) You should move out by us and be in our ward again.
