Family Home Evening

Usually Sunday our family gets together to sing to who's ever birthday just happened or about too and last Sunday it was my sis-n-law NaDell. We sang too since her birthday was the beginning of the week, it was last Tuesday. Since we had another Sunday after Sami's birthday we planned to have cake for Father's Day and Sami's birthday but because of other things that had to be done Monday morning we had a family Family Home Evening and sang to her. Here we are trying to get her to blow out her candles. I was a little hesitant to even try this since last year she put the candle out with her hand and so that was a bit sad, but she understood the concept and we held the hands back. She blew but didn't quite do it and so we helped her. These are some pictures a friend took of us as the party was winding down. This is Sami and the friends little girl (Abbygail Price). I was pretty shocked that this happened. Since there only about a year apart they don't get along too well and the older girl is always taking Sami's toys away from her. But it is still a pretty cute picture when little kids hug!
That is the end of our picture extravaganza of celebrating Sami's party. She also got a big girl bed, my grandma's old day bed that we are waiting to set up when we move at the end of August so that we don't have to take two beds apart. She is pretty excited about it though, and it will be nice to get her off our bed when she feels the need to play on a bed, she can play on her own, and better yet get food on her own bed.

Hi Sara, do you need bed rails? We bought some off Craig's List and then went with the toddler bed, so we no longer need them. They're for a twin size bed and one is used, while the other is still in the package. They were only $5, but holler if you need them and consider them a birthday present.
