Get ready it's a big entry but don't say I didn't warn ya!
Thursday, me and Sami were sitting around waiting for Aunt Suzie to call so we could go see her new house... we were actually watching "Gone With the Wind" and all of a sudden we hear this loud noise of something hitting the house. I at first thought it is pouring rain which by the looks of the clouds knew that was coming but than realized that was too loud to be rain and so we looked out the window and this is what we saw.
Yep, bee bee sized hail hitting the back porch it was covered it was so crazy. It did this for about 10 min than stopped and started pouring rain... so crazy, but I have never seen hail this size and so I had to document it.
Friday: This is pictures of me and Sami after we got the call from David saying he got the job. As you can see I was feeling very matchy with the both of us. This is one of her new shirts she got from Aunt Suzie. Aunt Suzie was feeling very generous and just has two boys and so had a fun time buying Sami a few things. You can't see it but we are both wearing khaki pants too... we were just so cute!
Sami's attempt at taking a picture... this was pretty much the only one that turned out... but I thought it was a cool picture!
We were singing the itsy bitsy spider because I wanted you all to see this little girls smiley face because she doesn't express it in it's entirety in pictures hardly. And we were trying out pig tails and since she has a head full of cow licks we probably won't do it for awhile!
Saturday: The day the, bid day of the party. We were supposed to go over and do some work at my parents house since they went up to the property to fix the pump house that had some frozen pipes, but it was cold and artic windy so get a huge ear ache today no thanks! So we just hung out for the morning me, doing some cleaning hear and there, and laundry and than around noon we went to exchange some pants David got as a present and to get some lunch at Arby's since I was craving a roast beef sandwich, it was yummy! Here is Sami doing something she loves doing, playing in the bathtub, with out water, it kept her out of my hair while I scoured the bathroom, toliet and sink... not my favorite job!
I am not a big fan of taking pictures during a party especially one filled with adults partly because of the kahos of it and so I took some pics before the party arrived. This is David's cake. His party was Superman themed, I had found a pic of him as a little boy with a Superman cake for his 3rd birthday and so decided since it was his 30th birthday we would involve the picture for a more fun added touch.
Sami enjoying drinking Black Cherry Shasta... she doesn't get to drink pop very often so no her first words aren't "pop in cup" and so she is enjoying this of course.
Here's Dave relaxing before the party begins. His new job works his muscles pretty hard, it's like a free gym, that he gets paid to go too, and so he was sore all day.
I tried my hand at streamers... and I need to introduce a new piece of furniture of my kitchen my red dresser. I had been using this old 3 drawer dresser that was given to us but it was falling apart prior to our use and so I retired it and adopted this dresser to hold rags, cook books, a junk drawer, since the 4 drawers you see next too it is pretty much the extent of drawers in our kitchen.
David blowing out his candles, I only added 3 for old times sake.
My sister n law Mary Ann is an excellent pinata maker and so I got her help and she made one, on the other side is a smiley face... we had the kids each take a turn hitting it and than my neice NaDine tried her hand at it...
Needless to say she was successful... but it was fun for the little kids..

Needless to say she was successful... but it was fun for the little kids.. We had a pretty good turn out especially since it was the night of our Adult Stake Conference whoops! David's brother Brent and his wife Mary Ann and there daughter NaDine came, than my parents, Dave's sister Shelley and her daughter Khole, my brother Andy and his family, Bryan and Stacie Pratt, my good friend Rachel Adams and her son Kyler, Ben Larson and his buddy, and my lil sister Torrie and her husband Brad... I think that was everyone if I left anyone out sorry! But it was fun.
Here is Sami drinking her milk this morning after I put her new Sunday outfit on, another one of the things Aunt Suzie bought her. She also bought her the shirt she wore for the party that says Smile on it. We have Stake Conference today and it is at 9:30 our long time beloved Stake President is said to be getting released for that, it will be sad, but he has served plenty.

I got up at 7 and got my hair all fixed because that is the longest process and than Sami got up and I am doing this blog to pass the time until it is time to leave but now I gotta go eat breakfast and finish getting ready!
