David's Birthday present arrived…
He wanted a art tablet… it's an
INTUOS by Wacom
As you can see it's a flat board type thing, with a middle screen. You hook it up to the computer it comes with a cool special pen, and you can use it while modeling 3-D with Mudbox, or inking your own art… I know way over my head. He scored and got it on Ebay for $105 and just ordered some soft ware to go with it for $30. Since he graduates next year he has to have a portfolio ready and so the necessary tools are important… whatever… as long as he enjoys it, he can get a good job, I am happy.
One of these years if it's necessary we will get him this fancy computer screen thingy that you draw on it cost several thousands of dollars and so in the future…. it's a Centex or something like that… he goes into the 3-D lab at school and plays with it durning his break. He is having a great time tutoring in 3-D and got his first pay check for $200 last week score!

Well he will turn 35 on Feb 26, coincidence is that is the middle of our Disney trip and so we will be doing some celebrating before we go and get him some ice cream on his birthday…. if family wants to know what to get him… clothes…. this man needs clothes…. but you didn't hear it from me… he also wants the Hobbit extended addition so we shall see if I can find it for him at a good price!
