Rainbow Dash

For Sami's birthday she wanted "My Little Pony",
when birthdays are coming up I start researching online the best present for them, and during my search I discovered "Build a Bear" has a Build a Pony, they had two, so I propositioned Sami, asking her if she would like that over anything else, explaining to her, it was expensive and so that would be the only present we as her parents would be getting her, and she said yes I want it! Coming from Sami, that meant the world. We would go to Walmart and she would start ranting off all the things she wanted for her birthday and so than I would say hey, I thought you wanted the big Rainbow Dash like Amadeus? (There is a boy in her class that brought it one day to show and tell and Sami fell in love.) Than she would he hesitate and I said, if you could choose anything you wanted for your birthday what would it be... BINGO!!!
The plan was to take some friends on a party trip to accompany her while she got her present, but in the end we decided to just make it a family thing. It was quite the experience, that we will most likely be re-living in September, for Daphne. Here we are talking to the gay, sales guy as he prepares to fill it with air...
We selected the "My Little Pony" theme song to go in the hoof.

 Sami putting in the stuffing...
hugging it to make sure it is filled to her satisfaction. They had two options, stiff so it could stand up or soft and cuddly. Well this will be well loved so I voted stiff, it will get soft and cuddly as time goes on.
Doing the heart ritual, that the sales guy had her do... I think Dave video it... it was pretty femmy... Behind the neck, so that he can trust you, in the belly so you will get plenty of food, kiss for your kisses... blah blah blah... it went on for like 5 minutes, Sami ate it up but I could see Dave rolling his eyes as I rolled mine... Seriously...
 Shoving the heart it...

Combing the hair under a bath... under some air...
typing up the birth certificate.. name.. Rainbow Dash born June 18 2013...
All ready to go. After the $25 dollar pony, $7 music box, $13.50 Rainbow Dash cape, our total was $49.97 or something... I was planing on $50, that is about what we spend on kid per birthday! (and Christmas) She's happy... and we added one large toy instead of several small ones!

(if anyone reading this is offended by the gay references... I don't care, don't like how I feel don't read MY BLOG)
