Even with Dave's busy schedule we managed to take two days and go to Kennewick for the reunion, even just for 2 days it was a rush trip, he has been so busy with his classes. He is taking a Design class on line, and a weight training class at the school. The Design class isn't so bad it's the weight training class... if he goes 40 times he can get a 4.0 and if he goes 35 times he will get a 3.5... you get the picture well finals are the week of August 16 and he has about 7 visits in so he has 5 weeks to do a lot of visits. A visit consists of 1/2 hr and he can do up to a 1 hr a day, so that is what he is in for, the rest of the quarter... so yes... life in Cheney is busy for him... for me not so much so this trip was a nice breath of fresh air...
When we got to Kennewick we went to my parents and than went and got lunch and hit up a couple stores, it's pretty normal for us to hit up the good stores which are a lot closer to my parents house than they are to us here in Cheney... a 15 min drive or less instead of a 30-45 min drive...
That evening we headed out to my Uncle Roger and Aunt Carol's house for the 1st stage of the reunion... we missed the temple trip. It was a hot evening. We hung out on the covered porch with Ezra and let the kids run rampant... as you will see the pictures... they had FUN!
It didn't take them long to discover the irrigation sprinklers in the yard there were about 4 of them, my two girls and my once niece out of all 10 kids were the only ones that enjoyed the water...
Each reunion we have an auction... this is our 3rd reunion consistently and so it's been great fun...
Dave with Ezra... i got Ezra's hat damp to cool off his head... poor boy! I brought play doh and cards... and came home with a lot less, glad I could contribute some way! My Uncle Richard from Ohio brought some of my cousin's wives hand drawn cards of church historical sites they were pretty amazing! And my grandma donated some scriptures signed by well one was signed by President George Albert Smith, it was my grandpas back in the day. She told me she was afraid that they wouldn't stay in the family...
After they drenched there clothes I got smart and threw on there swim suits, I knew there was a reason I kept those in the van instead of put them in my parents house, in the summer it's always smart when going to out door functions to have swim suits on hand, you just never know!
Playing Red Light Green Light with my Uncle David. Andy's girl are the two tallest and there son, than there's Sami and the other 3 girls are my cousin Scott's, this was his parents house. It's really crazy I was telling his oldest daughter that we used to play out side all the time when we were there age. She was explaining to me how to play tag... I told her I definitely knew that was one of our favorite games to play out there...
My grandma McClellan and step Grandpa Paul...
on Friday before we headed home we were able to attend a family picnic at the park in Richland and we had quite the group... it was great fun!
Glad I could go even if it wasn't for the entire time... it was fun! Love my Family!
I have been trying to keep life interesting for me and the girls, so keep checking my blog to see how I do that... Ezra is doing well he is smiling a lot more and has even started to chuckle a bit!

You'll have to post a video of Ezra's chuckle. I'd love to hear it!
I'm so glad you could come. It was great to see you and it's always better when you are there!
