Having a baby is a grand thing, but since having my first child I have started dreading having the baby, not because of delivering and staying up all night and being a mommy zombie and all that fun baby stuff, but losing the pounds that I so carelessly packed on during my pregnancy.
With Sami I started about 125-130 and ended at 155 and got back down to 140.
With Daphne I started at 140 and got up to 172 and down to 148.
With Ezra I started at 148 and got up to 182... and as of my last apt I was down half the weight...
I usually am not one to blab on and on about weight loss because with my difficult body i can work out and work out and nothing will change.. as you can see... i can tone up and look more fit but losing weight is not something I do... but this time will be different... but just wanted to document June thus far...

One week later...
two weeks later...
almost 4 weeks out... this is a picture I took today. Ezra will be 4 weeks Wednesday and be 1 month on Saturday, I am wearing non maternity pants here, and although they aren't my regular jeans I wore pre-pregnancy, they are my transition jeans and they are size 10 but they have a high waist band that normally I can't hold up but since I still have tummy weight they are holding up just fine... i tried these pants on a couple weeks ago and they wouldn't button so this was a great feat for me today.
As I titled my post "June... gone in a blur!" well let me tell you this is what our month has been filled with... rain, rain and more rain... we have to water our own lawn and haven't had too since we moved in since it rains so often. I used to hate the rain but I love it now... i think it's because this area is so green and the air is different than down in the Tri-Cities, but I love it... i told Dave... hey get a job in Seattle or Portland... i prefer rain to snow anyway... and one of these days I have every intention of taking the girls out for a rain dance... that will be a fun day...
Other than rain, we have been adjusting to Ezra and a family of 5. He is a very good baby, only cries when he is at his wits end and hungry, or he is cold. Sunday night I was feeling really queasy and i got hit with the flu. It started coming out one end and finished sometime around 3 in the morning after coming out both ends at the same time (sorry I know TMI)... i kept praying that no one else in our family would get it.. nothing is worse than cleaning up kids puke... Dave went out to the couch and took Ezra in his bouncer with him and kept him happy while I moaned and tried to make it to the bathroom on time. Around 3 Ezra woke up and I could finally nurse him. I was so dehydrated though... i didn't have to go potty again until the next evening around 4 or 5. I drank water but small sips through out the day to get back on track. At noon I finally could stomach some soup and than I could take my pain reliever... i tell you the worst thing about being sick like that is the after effects on your body... i was so achy I couldn't sleep and so exhausted to sit up and walk around was taxing... but after I ate the soup I took some meds and crashed. When I woke up I was all sweaty and feeling tons better. I was fine for the rest of the night and slept really well. I think that's how I fit into my pants though... you loose a lot of weight being sick like that...
