Wednesday was the day we decided to find a Burger King in Spokane. Lately we just get the kids meal for the girls it is just as cheap and of course the benefit of a toy makes it all worth it.

The toy is based off of "Thor" the movie and so it's a headband just like the thing that Thor has... pretty funny!

Than we made our way down to the very busy Spokane River Front Park. We found a parking spot... and from now will be a lot more careful were we park. We ended up parking in the wrong place and were confused because it was all mis-marked. Dave has sent them an email to appeal the $66 dollar ticket. It's all a ploy. We apparently went in the wrong entrance, the only one that didn't have a booth with a arm that grants you entry and it took us about 10 min to get out of our car in that time the surveillance camera's I am sure saw us and we could have been warned but oh no... they wanted us to be tricked into wasting money... grrr! Yeah we won't be back down there for awhile! It was incredibly annoying! Not a $66 dollars we have to spare that is for sure!

They have this giant slide that is the handle of a red wagon and so we climbed up and went down. The slide was hot because it was shinny metal and so we only slide down a couple of times... Can you see me and Daphne at the top?

Than we walked around a bit. While we admired our surroundings. When we get brave again we will come back and eat our lunch there. I really want to go on the over the water ride thingy... and take the kids on the rides they have working during the summer, we shall see.

All the geese were lined up hanging out on the lawn pooping and Sami had a great time coming up behind each one of them and forcing them into the water...

Daphne would have gone right into that water had we let her. Sami sure got a kick out of making the geese fall into the water... Once they were all in and she was satisfied we moved on.

We ended up at the carousel. We spent $4 each for me and Dave to ride and since we were with the kids they were free. It was fun... Daphne enjoyed it but

She did get a little frightened when it started going faster and faster... she held on tight... than got bored and tried to get down...

Sami really wanted to ride but she got scared and so Dave sat with her on one of the benches while me and Daphne had a good time.
It was a great day. Afterwards we looked around Spokane searching for a Game Stop to get Dave's father's Day gift. There was one down town but no way were we parking again... it was crazy. Dave is not a big crowd kind of guy, and I could care less... it makes it more fun sometimes. He got his gift of course really early, but he also got it so he could play it and take his turn doing his assigned game review for his game review sight he is working on.

at least... just look at it... the need some hits to get there name on the board! So excited for him... it's just a small thing to help supplement our income while he is going to school, so wish him well!
