Last Saturday we had our first official visitors. I don't count my mom and sister because they just picked me up... so this was very exciting and I know they had a blast!

They got here around 1 or so in the afternoon and than we got all ready to go and headed out. They invited Sami to ride with them in there car, which although she looks worried here, she was thrilled about, she loves her cousins and misses them dearly!

We decided to hit up the River Front park since that is the main attraction in Spokane, I have a feeling we will be going there a lot with visitors, we don't mind, it's such a huge park it is just fine. Me and Dave took Daphne with us and we found a parking place that we paid for, $3 my brother paid $10 for his, and another guy paid $12 so ours was cheap... it was only until 5pm and it wasn't next to the mall and so it was just fine by us, a lot easier to get in and out. And we didn't get a ticket this time. And luckily we missed the parade.

We hung out at the slide for a bit and let the kids all go down a few times. Than we headed on a walk around the park to go see the falls.

First we walked across the blue bridge there in the background and than we saw the bridge we are on now and we said lets hit up the "Get Wet Bridge"...

On our way to the bridge we stopped off for some picture opps... it was so pretty I need to stop using my phone and start taking a real camera!

All the kids plus Andy... which is really a kid at heart! Sami gets so distracted... sometimes she can be a real loaner when she wants to be. Besides she wasn't feeling too hot this day... she and Daphne caught croup and they were just getting over it when we had our visitors we just decided oh well...

My handsome man!

Now onto the "Get Wet Bridge" as we all decided to call it. This is the beginning of the bridge than as you walk towards the center you get wet... Daphne was soaked as well as Vincent since they were the shorter ones... Dave and Sami missed it. There were some kids standing there, and it was apparent they had been there for awhile they were soaked clear through. I found out after talking to some friends of mine from Cheney that your actually not supposed to get wet... the water is just really high right now and so you get wet!
We finished our walk around the park and than headed back to the cars and headed to the Valley. I needed to go to Target and they tagged along with us. Than we ate dinner at McD's and than they headed home. It was a great day and next time they come into town me and Andy are going to go on the zip car thingy that goes over the water... I am so stoked! Maybe we can take them to a water park as well!
See all the fun you'd have if you came to visit us for the day!

It was fun to come and visit you guys!
Our kids had a great time too-even more than they say. =)
My friend said that you could park at one of the hotels for free someplace there.
We'll be coming that direction for Silverwood sometime this summer because the girls earn free tickets at school for reading. Andy doesn't like waterparks much though, he says.
