Ok, So I have always wanted to go to a Pumpkin Patch but have never gone. So this past Sunday my good friend Brooke invited me and my girls to go with her pre-school, which consists of 5 kids from our ward that are Sami's friends. Needless to say, we had a blast.
They made an apt and so we arrived at 8:45 for the tour to begin. We dropped Dave off at work and headed out to the Country Mercantile which was quite the ways out. We gathered in the morning chill next to the lamb sign and waited for the rest of the group to arrive. Than we all boarded the wagon for the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch.
Here we are at the pumpkin patch. It was a blast. They all walked around and chose there pumpkins. For each person who wanted a pumpkin it was $3. I paid $6 and got these two tiny pumpkins and the tour and it was worth it. We were all discussing how we would have paid more, for the great deal we got. Sami kept picking up different pumpkins thinking we needed to take the whole patch home.
Daphne liked her pumpkin, can you tell.
After we were ushered over to the hay stack for the kids to climb on. They all made there way up to the very tip top and amazingly all came around the stack and were all lined up for us to take there pictures. This is Mariska, Sami, Tori and Bronx. Sami and Tori are pretty close in age they start Sunbeams in January together and since Tori's mom is the primary president they are getting to be better friends. Mariska and Bronx are already in Sunbeams but they all enjoy each others company as you can tell.
This is how high they were... Sami didn't want to come down so I had to go up and get her.
This is Daphne and Jane. Jane was born a week and a half, two weeks before Daphne. She is already walking, but she likes Daphne. I was trying to get a picture of Jane side hugging Daphne, but it didn't happen... Daphne loved the attention and I know these two will be great nursery friends.
This is the hay stack maze... They had a ton of fun here as well. Can you see Sami?
Than we went to the petting zoo. We did not pet any animals, I didn't think too... These bunnies were so cute by far my favorite.
And this is a reindeer, he is awesome and I enjoyed him too... I have never seen one.
Daphne enjoyed the pig...
Afterwards we ended by having juice and cookies...
Daphne didn't hesitate to grab a cookie and munch away. We than loaded our pumpkins into the car and than went in the store to shop for chocolates and salsa. We bough a few chocolates and downed them on the long ride back home, and than me and Dave downed the mango salsa in a day... it was great... so worth the trip. I want to go back...
