This is living the good life!

It has been a crazy month, and I can't believe it's almost over, and September and school are almost here again, yikes! Since the summer is drawing to a close we have been enjoying ourselves thoroughly and here's how. This is a daily occurrence in our house the girls playing with there dad, and since Sami is so rough and Daphne pulls hair... Dave is a good man for this, besides the fact that he loves it. He stopped right after this because Sami some how got him in a head lock and his face was turning purple. Monday night my niece Olivia was having a birthday party and she wanted her guests to dress up. This is one of my old costumes from when I was 5 or 6 in dance class. this outfit was to a song with the lyrics, "Boogie Woogie Buggle Boy and Company B". I also smeared silver glitter all over Sami's arms, and hair to add a bit extra to it, she had a blast! Daphne just enjoyed the night in her cute little skirt! One day this week (Tuesday or Wednesday?) I took the girls on a walk to my moms to pick her plums for her. She makes the best plum jam with her plums. It was a great time. Whenever I mention my parents dog Scooter, this is him, the jack russell terrier, short leg and full bred.... I believe. He is a good dog, smart and loves table food! And is very good with the kids! Already turning into my gymnast... I am so proud. She had to cross the monkey bars as well. I brought Daphne inside sat her down and ran back outside to grab the box of plums and coming back this is what I saw... she is quick with that army crawling of hers. Sami snuck a sucker and we were watching "Curious George" the movie... Wednesday night we got some Fred Meyer wraps and chips, and headed to the sprinkler park. We sat on the grass right next to it and Daphne made her way to the water. She didn't like it much when the cold water would get her in the face. Thursday Dave had the day off so we were going to go feed the ducks, but when we got there, a sign was posted that said not to feed them, so we headed to the play ground of dreams. Shortly after this I was playing follow the leader with Sami and we walked across that black bridge type thing that you can bounce on, and my feet went out from underneath me and so did Sami's, and I hit my head, twisted my neck and back... an instant head ache and nausea was soon to follow... we went home, and all day to day I have spent the day on the couch on my mom's chair massager. (I am in desperate need of a massage Rachel)
Dave is at work now, and since he has left, Sami has some how found a magic marker and colored her hands black... that oughta be fun to explain to people... where she got the marker is news to me, because they are all put away! Gotta love kids and there naughty behavior thinking they have rights to anything and everything around the house.
Dave got a part time job working for GNC in West Richland off Queensgate in Targets parking lot, so go visit him if you need some vitamins etc... he definitely wouldn't mind the distraction. It's so far away from home and an hours pay goes towards gas for a day and so let us know if you hear of something good. He is enjoying his free time though, sleeping in, being here for me in my time of need, playing with the girls. He starts school on September 15th, and than we will never see him so we are enjoying it!

Your girls were so cute at Olivia's party. I'm glad you had fun dressing them up.
I love Sami's Curious George monkey suckering.
Daddy play time is the best!
