Reunion

We had a great 4th of July weekend. My oldest sister and her 6 kids came up and we stayed in town for a bit than went up to my parents cabin.

Cindy brought Sami's birthday present down, it is probably one of the best inventions for toys ever. It is a pop up tent with no bottom, and it folds up for easy put away. It is made out of cloth of some sort. Sami loves it. It kinda freaks me out sometimes when I can't find her than see stuff coming from the tent... My niece Kate makes these super cute flower clips and so I bought a couple for the girls... Daphne is sporting one! Friday we had a barbecue and had generation pictures with my grandma... so 4 generations... Saturday morning we drove up to the cabin, Daphne slept the whole way there... she was in a good mood for most of our stay up there... After lunch we had a family scavenger hunt and collected little prizes and our big finishing prize was italian sodas that Torrie and Brad brought... I think Sami enjoyed hers! Sami on the deck! Dave and Daphne on the deck I brought bubbles & bubble gum, and the kids had a blast trying it all out... We had a bubble gum blowing contest... I didn't do too well. My neice Elizabeth who is 7 won. A family photo... in order of age (the kids)... My brother is the oldest... check out how good my parents look... I think the mountain air does them some good!

Sunday night we had nothing to do and the girls were still pretty wiped out from the weekend and so we watched a few fireworks from our back porch... As you can tell we were pretty wiped out too. Saturday night I had eaten so much junk food I was sick in the toilet for a bit than knocked out myself... I also twisted my knee up pretty bad running around during the scavenger hunt and so I had that wrapped and was icing it on Sunday and Monday... it was a good weekend, but I can't run around like i used to, I forget I have had 2 kids, and that my last one is only 9 mo old... i gotta give myself some credit!
