"Confessions of Completely Insane Mother" by Kersten Campbell
it is pretty funny, and I can relate to some of the stuff even though she has 5 kids and I have 2. It has gotten me thinking. She makes 34 points of what makes her insane, and so here are my 34 (maybe) things that make me an Insane Mother! Feel free to make your own list to share!
(these are in no particular order, and have to do with being a mom, but other aspects that tie into it as well, please no one get offended by anything I say, this is my life and opinions!)
1. I often find myself complaining that we got pregnant so fast. This makes me a completely insane mother because I barely had figured out how to be married and than I became a mom!
2. My daughters are 27 months apart, give or take a few days. (18th - 23rd), and yes both completely planned, I was very blessed that way.
3. I was 25 when I got married.
4. My husband is in school
5. I have a huge thirst for crafting, and home decorating.
6. We don't have a very big disposable income
7. We live in a small 2 bedroom apartment with one bathroom, so the play room is the front room, so toys are all over the place, a lot of the time, and yes mom I do clean my house, more than once a day
8. My 3 year old eats like a bird, and my 9 mo old eats like a little piggy
9. My 3 year old didn't crawl til she was 11 mo and didn't walk until she was 22 mo.
10. My husband loves to play video games, and so we have game controllers, games, and game consoles all over the place.
11. I don't have anywhere to craft except the kitchen table, so if I pull out anything to work on, it messes up the table
12. Mon-Sat I could care less if parts of the house were messy, Sunday... it drives me bonkers
13. Somewhere along the way my 3 year old got attached to her blanket that she calls gung-gung, and it drives my husband crazy!
14. My 3 year old is obsessed with Dora, no matter how much i try to dissuade her from watching it and try to get her interested in something else...
15. Anything is better with music on... from Michael Buble to Lady Gaga!
16. I am turning into being anal.... one of things I hate the worst, mainly with how the kitchen is cleaned
17. I get cabin fever way too easy
18. Spending money is such a release, I don't know why!
19. I love to go out of town, but my husband is just fine being at home (playing video games)
20. I love McDonalds, and Taco Bell!
21. Anything is better with a Snickers and a Dr. Pepper
22. I have piles of projects all over the house of things I need to do. (but never want to)
23. I love to organize but have to talk myself into it!
24. Very fickle! My mood for things varies every day!
25. I hate working out on machines or running. I have to work out to a exercise video, and even than it gets super boring!
26. Both my girls love Oreo's I could care less I love Chips Ahoy, and Nutter Butter!
27. I love when I am busy, it makes me feel important!
28. I keep my journal on the computer, I love typing, I can pick a font each time, and just clickety clackety away, with out getting a cramp in my hand.
29. I embarrass myself almost on a daily basis
30. For some reason or another I have become someone that is easy to make fun of, Since I have gotten older I have learned to fight back, but I have discovered some that have made fun of me, can't take it back, so I usually just back off, and let them feel good about themselves for a little bit.
31. Most days I can't wait for nap time, but than when I am all alone and can do whatever my heart desires, I don't know what to do.
32. I love dressing my children, and my husband, but hate dressing myself.
33. I have taught Sami several songs to sing, and I give in to her disobedience when I hear her singing a song (ex:) "I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus", it is the cutest thing, I realize that she just might not be as disobedient as I thought.
34. My girls may be 3 yrs and 9 mo, but they can each hold there own equally. Just when I think Daphne is getting beat up on, she will do something mean back to her sister and it will be even again!

I can relate!! Especially about that nap time comment =) It's too exciting when both nap that I can't always nap then!
