It's been a good week or two and so I had to of course post for this wonderful event! And of course add in some other random pictures...
Every night we eat popcorn. It comes in a box of like 25 packs for $5 we can't beat it. Sami is always asking for us to pop popcorn, and every time the microwave is on, she wants popcorn. Here she is doing the cutest thing, and so I don't mind popping her pop corn to use this way. She has her own special bowl of popcorn (as to keep her away from the seeds) and she is eating the pieces with a spoon, so cute. She likes to use popcorn with her dishes! I love it!
Here is Mrs D, being good while I am crafting. I made her head band, and just added the bow to it, she sports it pretty good!
Dave's birthday was on the 26th and he turned 31. He was not excited at all about the day and so I changed that. For lunch we had spaghetti and meat balls (which was leftovers from the previous night), and he unwrapped his presents, when he came home for lunch as well.
Sami threw a fit because the concept of unwrapping presents that aren't hers she doesn't understand and so she helped daddy! Daddy got; a game accessory, a new Superman shirt, some new headphones, and a puzzle, that he asked for but I am putting together... I also surprised him and had my mom drop off at his work a bowl filled with candy. He shared it will all the employees that work at Campbell and it made his day. He saved the M&M's for us, he loves them, they are his favorite! We ate them as a family Sunday afternoon in one sitting, one handful at a time!
For dinner we decided to just stay home, I made a veggie twist and than made him this very rich pie... it has an oreo crust, and has a filling of cream cheese, peanut butter, vanilla pudding and milk. Than has a topping of melted chocolate with peanut butter drizzled over the top. I made two. One for us and one for the party at my parents on Sunday... needless to say the rest is in the freezer!
March is the month I dread the most, because it is filled with family birthdays, and keep them all straight is very hard. Dave's is the 26th of February, than my dad's and Dave's dads, is on the 1st of March, my mom's is the 4th than my brothers and Dave's mom's is like the 8th and 9th... but sorry the rest of ya, your presents will be late... So we sang to everyone on my side of the family Sunday night. We have 3 cakes. One for my parents (ice cream cake my dads favorite), a banana cream for my brother, his favorite, and the pie I made for Dave. At the end of the night half of the ice cream cake was eaten, and that was about it!
Dave getting ready to blow out his candle, when his turn comes. Birthdays to me are a big deal, they always have been in our family. I remember one year I made my parents celebrate my half birthday and so they bought a candy bar and put candles in it and sang to me. I don't do that now... I made Dave's day a big deal because I think it is! He is such a great husband and works so hard to provide for our family. I love him and he is so great, and smart, and I just wanted to take care of him on his day to show him how much I love him! He always tries to make sure everyone is happy and even though he is very busy, he still makes time for his family! I would rather stay home and spend time with him, any day than be anywhere else!

Good luck with your other celebrations this week!
I'm glad David had a happy birthday.
Your little girls are so cute.
How fun! That's great that you made the day special for him. I'm the same way and like to make birthdays a big deal.
