first sunday as a family of 4!

So I always tell myself we are going to take a family picture before we go to church because we all look so cute and today I actually reminded myself just in time. It was a significant day since it was officially our first Sunday going to church as a family of 4. It was great. After our morning nap (church doesn't start til 1 ), my tantrum about not having any sunday clothes, finding something suitable to wear, and getting everyone dressed and fed in time, we had our picture opt.
Samantha loves getting her picture taken, you pull out that camera and she will pose for you. We have a hard time catching her in video's doing funny things because she just wants to pose. She is so photo genic we decided... Amongst all her toys... goodness she has so many toys! Family photo! Dave took it of me, and I smiled... Me and my girls, I thought I was holding Daphne better than that! My cute girl... Miss Sami waiting to get her teeth brushed, she loves brushing her teeth. My girls. Sami is giving her a kiss but didn't want to not be facing the camera so it looks odd!
It was a good day. Girls were pretty good at church, Daphne slept the whole time practically, Sami went to nursery, and me and Dave got to go to our meetings, it was great.
Oh the funniest thing happened last night, funny things happen in our house late at night. Sami sleeps in her big girl bed and we usually close the door and make sure it's latched or she gets up at 5 or whenever and wants to watch a movie and get on with the day (gee I don't know why we discourage that). Last night we left her door open because we had to turn our heater on before we went to bed, and there the wall heaters and so they make me very nervous, but her room was really cold before we turned on the heater... Anyways... I got up at 5 to feed Daphne and I walk out to the front room where I feed her, and Sami was sitting on the couch. I don't know how long she had been there, but I didn't hear her get up and I usually do. I told her to get back in bed, it was too early. She got off the couch and walked into her room, than I heard her in the hall, so I called her to come sit by me on the couch while I fed her sister. Than I put her back to bed. SO back to closing the door at night... I guess it doesn't matter but that kinda makes me nervous.
Enjoy!

I know what you mean about closing the door at night... except my little guy knows how to open ANY door now! *sigh* I miss those days where you could do that and get away with it... meant for less headaches and longer days. :) Your family pictures are adorable by the way and I'm glad the first Sunday went well!
