This isn't a big update, well I say that now... but in the coming weeks you will be floored at the news. It's Sunday morning and since we moved we have church at 1 now and so I have all morning to use up and so I used the morning to check out fellow friends blogs and decided I needed an update for those who aren't as into facebook as I seem to be.
My birthday is this week, on the 10th and I am going to be 29. We are celebrating it tomorrow and on Thursday because well that's the best thing about birthdays you can stretch them out, besides I love stretching them out it makes growing up not seem so bad. Dave had been asking me for a few months now what I wanted for my birthday and I have told him 3 different things but finally made my final decision and decided I wanted a Scentsy warmer. I am in love. Here is it sitting in it's new home on my kitchen counter...
And here it is in all it's beauty. I love it. They have a black and blue one just like this one but I decided since I love brown so much I should just get brown... I got 3 scents with it and in right now is Home Sweet Home. Since I got it on Friday it has been on whenever we are up, and home... I love it. It makes our whole apartment smell good but it's not a yucky that's too powerful smell it's a hmm that smells good smell.

Dave's co-worker Lamar Reeder's wife Rosan Reeder is a consultant and come to find out Orveille the guy that is the money behind the business is there nephew. Pretty cool huh. But Rosan is a sweet lady and she got me talked into having a party and so once the baby steam blows off I will be having my own party and it will also be my introduction into my new found profession to take over my free time from not teaching piano lessons. I am going to be a scentsy consultant. So watch out... I have never done this sort of thing and it's about $100 to buy in and get what you need to get started but me and Dave have talked about it and he thinks that it would be a good thing for me to do. No, mom this will not intrude in my Ransom Made Design work, it will just be something extra. I am very excited and I think I can do a good job at it. Dave said, as long as we can earn what we put into it, it will make it all worth it. I will enjoy it, I just know it.
In our apartment we don't have a/c we have a wall unit that blows out nice cool air and than once you get down the hall to our bedrooms we have a nice stand up fan that circulates more cool air. Since we moved in these two things have been on constantly, but last night I turned them both off, and opened all the windows. Our place is great since our kitchen and family room face the sun in the morning and the bedroom windows face the sun as it's dropping and so it stays cool in our bedrooms once the sun drops and the sun in the kitchen and family room is nice in the morning for when it starts to really cool down it will warm us up. We put Sami to bed last night in a night gown with pants on (to help with diaper) and this morning when she woke up she was very wet.. so I pulled off the wet clothes and put on some warm ones. her feet were frozen and so I even put socks on her feet which of course once she got her energy up she ripped off... this fall and winter are going to be fun..
I put in a load of laundry to get this girl something washed for church and every time I open the dryer she comes to turn on and off the little light... it's pretty fun for her apparently and she gets excited about it. In the above pic you can see the light on.

Up Date time:
So... a couple weeks ago, I was making the rest of my doctor's apts since they are every week, and I asked the scheduling girl how some people see the same doctor each time and that started a conversation that ended well. I found out that they're are only so many doctors in that office and that when they go on call you get that doctor delivering you, and that they have several nurses that you also see for apts. Well that's great but since I am winding down I don't want to see a nurse any more they don't deliver and that doesn't help me at all. So I told her my history with Sami and how she was 10 days late and I was induced and she said that she will start scheduling me with Dr. Smith since he was the one to talk to about inducement.
So... I had a apt with Dr. Smith Monday.. and she (the schedular) told me to just bring it up and see what he said.. so I did. I said... so what's the doctor's in this office policy on how long they will let you go before they induce. He sighed and filled me in on all this doctors information. He told me it depends on dilation, effacement, and whether your breech or not. So than he said lets check you. He checked me and I was 1 cm dialated (which I know isn't much but more than I was prior to having Sami) and 75% efaced. And I also dropped because the previous week Dr. Anderson couldn't even feel her and he said he is tickling her head. So he said who do you see next week (which is on Thursday my birthday) and I said, you, and he said if your still progressing than we will schedule your inducement date, and so you can have her in your 39th week and not have to wait til your 40th week. So just to give everyone a time table... I am going into my 38th week and I am due on the 20th which is not next Sunday but the following so... sometime between the next 2 weeks Daphne will be here... yeah!
It was pretty interesting because as you know I have been complaining that this pregnancy is nothing like it was with Sami. I had no pain what so ever with her and so contractions didn't happen until I got the juice. But for the last month I have been experiencing Braxton Hicks... and alot of them... at least 3 times a day sometimes a lot more. So last Sunday I started having them every hour if not half hour and it kept up until Monday night and so it was no wonder I was dilated and effaced... I am glad something's working.
Ohh... ok so I was eating breakfast while we were watching "Cars" as a family and I noticed our front room was cluttered with toys and bits of food and so I told my husband that after the movie was over we needed to clean up and vacuum, and so I have been in here doing this and now I hear the vacuum after all the fighting of picking up toys with Sami... me and Dave always joke around about her toys. I came out last night and I was watching a movie in bed and Dave was playing video games and Sami was in bed, and I said Dave... before you go to bed you need to pick up your toys... I can't believe you are so messy... I think it's near impossible for us to not have a mess with toys in the front room since well that's where the toys are... so if you ever come over... excuse the toys that's just how it's going to be!
I said it wasn't going to be long I lied... (you should know better by now). Have a good Sunday and wish us luck. Oh yeah I ripped a hole in a pair of my maternity shorts yesterday and I was complaining to Dave that I needed to have her soon so I can stop ripping my clothes and he said... well lets just buy you a new pair... screw that... why buy more maternity clothes... I want cute non-maternity clothes, well cute fat clothes...! well have a good Sunday!
