Finally a Birthday Cake for me!

So Sunday is usually the day when our family has birthday cake for the most recent Birthday girl or boy. Last week was my sister Suzie's birthday day and my parents bought her this cute guitar cake and everything and this week was my turn. I guess they wanted us to have our own specific day. So... Saturday night I went to the store and bought a cake... I picked out a good one didn't I. I chose it because it had filling. I love the fruit flavored filling but they didn't have that as a choice and so I got one that had whipped topping and bavarian cream filling. Needless to say there wasn't too many pieces left and I brought them home to finish off... yummy! My sis-n-law has been well she calls it "bossing me around" but I don't even think twice about it. She kept getting after me for sitting on the floor, on the step, running after my crying child and well everything else I do all the time that I probably shouldn't be doing. Thanks NaDell! She knows that when you have a celebration like this you gotta have pictures. She grabbed my camera and I must say she is a good picture taker. I enjoyed her selection! This is my cute grandma and her husband grandpa Paul and my aunt Nancy, my mom's youngest sister that just recently moved back into town from a 8-10 year abscence... she has the most organized, amazing and wonderful craft room in her bedroom, so needless to say (I guess I am a fan of that word currently) I enjoy her company. She is so much like my mom it's so nice to have such creative geniuses in the family. Grandpa Paul is the only grandpa I have known on this side. My mom's dad passed away when I was about 4 or 5 years old... so even though they just got married he is Grandpa Paul and he is pretty cute and sweet. He is the farmer and he is so good at it! Here's Dave holding Sami... at least she isn't sticking her hand down her throat gagging herself. Odd I know. My daughter I don't know where she learned that but she was doing that right as we were having cake and people were afraid she was really sick... she isn't but it was one of those ahhh that's my child and I am embarrassed that she is doing such a weird thing but I love her, situation. These are NaDell's girls... Olivia got that cute velvet dress from a friend of there's. She cracks me up she hardly ever wears pants it's always jumpers... and tights.. even in the summer time. I babysat her once this summer and she was getting dressed and I wouldn't let her wear tights... ohh mean Aunt Sara. It was pretty cute though. Last week I was in the shower at 8pm on Sunday and Dave came in to tell me not to come out because someone was knocking at the door. When I finally came out he said that Andy and Olivia stopped by. I guess they were over here and Olivia said she wanted to visit Aunt Sara... so sweet. It made me feel really special, no one ever comes to visit me! And here's the play by play... the face I am pulling is because I was starting to sing to myself. big blow... Energy gone and now just trying to not spit on the last candles while my mom steps in to help me out. Thanks mom!

Well it was a good birthday week... it would probably be better if this baby would come out... and it would cool down, but it has been nice. I love my scentsy, and am excited to go shopping with my gift cards!
