This past week my sister Cindy and her family from Utah came to visit. They got here Tuesday evening and left Saturday morning, so needless to say we had a lot of fun.
I don't think anyone realized it at first and if they did they didn't mention it but we decided it was a reunion. It wasn't the traditional reunion where you all go away from home to one location and do family activities but since we all live here in town except for my one sister it didn't dawn on us. So next year I think we are having our first official family reunion and trying to plan a place to stay and what to do is the next thing on the agenda. So it's really exciting, a bit stressful but fun. I am just glad that next time I won't be 8 months prego. The first night we were home we didn't go hang with everyone but on Wednesday night we did go hang and had a family barbeque. We had a lot of fun. Sami and her cousin Elizabeth are in the above picture... Sami just loves her cousins and after getting to know the 6 that she doesn't see very often she loved them too.
This is me (the brown bombshell) with my 4 other siblings. This is not the range of age, because my brother Andy is the oldest, and Torrie is the youngest. It was fun though.
I posted two pictures because one is good of Cindy and one is good of Suzie, I guess this is why professional photographers use photo shop!
These are the in-laws. They are in range of who joined the family when. David is second to last. My brother was the 3rd to get married even though he is the oldest but other than that it went in a row (I am so glad I got married before my little sister even though it was only by about a year or so, we are 6 years in age difference so I needed the boost for my morale). You might not be able to tell, but this was after the eating of hamburgers and my poor husband got mustard all over his shirt... we are big fans of spray n wash in our family... plus he is wearing the same thing he wore all day at work, and his job is not a stay clean kind of job.
As the dinner was coming to a close my daughter finally must have decided she was hungry, so of course grandma gave her a hot dog. My daughter hardly eats at all and so when she eats it's photo worthy, someday she will get an appetite. I don't believe she ate more than a couple bites off of this before Scooter (the family dog) finished it off.
On Thursday I had been fighting with myself all Wednesday evening on whether I should go but decided I didn't want to miss out and so me and Sami drove up with my parents (since Dave had to work) and spent the better part of the day at my parents property. Right after we got there we decided to go on a walk to see if we could see any bear prints. And viola... we found this one... the others we saw were running off into the forest. These are not bothersome bears they are just bears... thank goodness.
It was quite the fun scenario, we had lunch in the great room of my parents house, and so that is pretty much where I was the entire time, (it was near the food and drinks, and less stuff for my daughter to get into). I don't know who taught her this, (Dave claims he did not) but she loves oreo's but just the middle, (she's no dummy). This is a picture of her devouring the middle, and when I say devouring it was like someone was going to take it away from her she ate it so fast.
Here they all are, all 12 grandchildren. I thought of just sticking my belly in the picture but Daphne will be in plenty in the years to come so not worried. Baby Jane held by her sister is the youngest right now. She is 5 mo old and cute as can be.
As everyone was cleaning up getting ready to go, Sami found the dirt pile and got it everywhere. We went home and had a bath, than went out for pizza.

As everyone was cleaning up getting ready to go, Sami found the dirt pile and got it everywhere. We went home and had a bath, than went out for pizza. It was really funny. On the way home from the property we were making arrangements by phone for everyone to meet somewhere for a big family dinner. My dad said it was on him, and we would eat Round Table Pizza, but we would have to buy our own drinks. Well, so we get there, he buys the pizzas, gets what 6 pizzas and got one for 50 cents, and so we were all lined up to buy our drinks. My sister Cindy was in front of me and she said she wanted 1 pop and 6 waters, to make it easy, and the dude that had just rung up my dad asked if we were all just buying drinks and we said yeah, our dad bought the pizza. And he said since our dad spent so much on pizza, we could get our drinks for free... so that was funny. And my dad actually had to pay for his and my mom's drinks... go figure. It was great fun, we throughly enjoyed ourselves.
On Friday... (ok last day I am sorry). We didn't have any official plans and so I made my self available for any thing that might or might not be planned in minutes. Since I live (right now) on the other side of town from my parents house I made my arrangements to be close. We had to go over to our apartment and do the pre-walk thru, because the real one is this Friday when i sign and pay. And so I just went to my mom's after that. She said that was ok, when you've got 8 guests what's 2 more. I got there and they made plans to go to my sister's house in Pasco and check it out than do something for lunch.

My mom had to go buy paint and so she told me to hang out and lead my sister and her family (who haven't seen the place) over there. After my mom left my sister told me that they were going to get the address and use there GPS, so my use was useless. I had nothing to do, and so I went along anyways. After there tour and teasing... we decided to get lunch wherever and meet at the park for the kids to play.
Sami didn't wander too far from the swings at first, and so than I forced her to try out the slides since she does love them, and she did and of course had a blast. We left around 2 and came home and Sami slept until we had to go pick up Dave.
We got Dave and ran to Target to pick up some things than Dave said it was Friday night (date night) and so we went out for McDonald's for dinner than came home. At around 6 we got ready and were back at my mom's house around 7. She hired some guy from her ward to take family photos, so that should be fun. I got Dave the red shirt for $5 and Sami a new pair of pants and shirt $5 each for the pictures. The colors were red, and black. We wore long pants and didn't get rained on that much and had a great time. Than of course Dave asked for dessert and there was some already planned and so we had yummy brownies, with fudge topping and ice cream, than my brother had brought over his guitar hero guitars, and game to play on my parents Wii. We had a great time as you can see. Dave looks so hott here jamming out, he really gets into it.
I ended up singing "Living on a prayer" with many back ground singers before we left, here is Torrie and Andy doing the gig with Dave. It was great fun. It was a great week and I am sad it's over but I am ok with it because I got worn out. We had a huge week this week. We are you guessed it moving. So the rest of this week I will be packing up the rest of our stuff and Friday I get the keys and so I will start taking some stuff over and Saturday we move in, and Sunday we go to our new ward. I am just glad that we are doing this before Daphne is born, (or not, I guess i could still be surprised). I am excited to say that at least, to be on that side of town again, and back in a familiar ward, and closer to my parents especially with Daphne coming and the help I will desire. Enjoy and have a good week!

Great pictures!
We had a great time with everyone too. It's so nice to be able to get along well with both sides of the family and WANT to hang out even more (most days:)
(And thanks for not mentioning that I totally spilled mustard on my shirt too. I feel you, David! Some foods are just messy.)
