So this week, went buy just as fast as all the rest and I didn't really take many pictures I am so bad I need to get better.
On Friday I went to a joint baby shower that my visiting teacher threw for me and my good friend Rachel who she also visit teaches. We got a haul as you can tell, it was great. It was so fun. My cousin's and there mom are staying with my parents and she wasn't working and so I asked her to babysit Sami for me, and so I got to go all by myself. It was a blast. They had: fruits, veggies, little desserts, and chicken salad sandwiches to eat with croissants... you know the stuff from Costco... which I love! I could eat that stuff for days! It was a lot of fun, and I even won a prize. We played the guess the food in the jar and I didn't do very good at that, out of practice. And than we played guess the items on the tray and I got them all I was so proud of myself. I usually have a really bad memory but even with the pregnancy brain I remembered it all. Whoo hoo go me!
Here's Sami... on Saturday eating her favorite spaghetti with parmesan cheese on it and than she wanted some of my watermelon. She doesn't eat it but just enjoys squishing it up in her hands piece by piece... so silly girl!
Since it was 103 that day and over 100 most of the day we didn't do much. We left the house and took a shopping trip to Wal-Mart to get some essentials and than had lunch at McDonald's. Dave had to get his 3 pounder Angus burger... I settled for the Big n Tasty and boy did they name that sandwich well. I love it. On our way over there (to West Richland) I was following the trail of two helicopters which we are assuming they were army helicopters and in training they kept doing the same thing... it was really fun to watch. When we came home David worked on budget and did some reading and I pulled out the sewing stuff and got to work on some projects. I made that nursing cover which I am also selling some if you are interested. $15 choose whether you want girl or boy fabric... it's also posted on Ransom-made.com and will be sold at the event at the beginning of October. It wasn't to hard to make but fabric is not cheap.
I had decided a while back to make Daphne's room purple and pink and keep Sami's room pink and green but since we decided we are moving and will be living in a 2 bedroom apartment till we are pretty much done with school I figured that I would just go with the pink and green so I wouldn't have to change everything. So that saved me some money but I have this purple fabric that I had used to make curtains but it's too cute not to use and so I have some fabric to use up... I am also working on making size 2, 3, 4, and 5 pj pants so those will be posted sometime this week. Also in boy and girl colors! I have been busy I guess!
Just thought I would share! Have a good one!
