Piano Recital

Today I had my second piano Recital. It was the spring one. The last one we had was at Christmas time. I had all the same students but the brunette in the blue shirt is my newest student. So today we had the Spring hot dog recital. My mom has been having piano recitals for the last 20 or so years and has been having hot dog recitals in the spring and so it's only customary to keep it going. Since I have just the 4 students we join her and it ends up being close to 35 students playing, but it's fun and we have a good time.

My students are only 6 and so there songs weren't that hard but I am happy to say they all did a terrific job and didn't mess up at all, I was a very happy, proud Piano Teacher.

I started teaching last summer in July and so it's almost been a year. The little girl was my first student and than her mom told the mother of the twin boys and I started them in September and than that mom told the other boy and he started at the beginning of the year. They were all in preschool together, but now all go to a different school for kindergarten.

I love teaching it gives me some extra money and I am getting personally better at playing as well. It is my thing and I love it. Because of Sami it's hard to arrange baby-sitting but so far so good (I guess, with the help of my family and friends). I hope to keep it up as long as I can but we will see how that goes after Daphne is born!
