Yeah it's finally April! Well Almost

Here I am the best side of my hair style the front. I have been going to my sister's friend to get my hair cut well the two times I got it cut and I end up paying her after tip $25 I know that's not much but when money is in high demand with #2 creaping up I opted to try out the local Super Cuts and just see what damage could be done with such an easy request.

I walked in she seemed stylish enough and I asked her if she could just trim it up and that is has been in the style of an A line. You see I am no hair stylist but given those instructions how hard could it be your think. Well... the sides of my hair look great and I love it but the back I don't know what happened... a very very very short A line... but it doesn't look at all like what the previous stylist has done and so I don't know... I guess I get what I paid for. But when you have strands down the back of your head that are no more than 1 maybe 1 1/2 in long there is a problem because that is not an A line... weird girl... so hopefully people won't judge me from the back of my head and look at the cute front... ugghh... good thing I am pregnant and so my hair is growing faster right now than normal. We have had an exciting week. We didn't see David much Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. I am going to try not to complain because this is life but it was hard... between finals and work Sami didn't see him at all Tuesday and a min the other two days. So this weekend we lived it up.

We have been waiting to go to Olive Garden to spend a gift card that David got for his birthday and told ourselves when he got done with school we would go. We got my sister to babysit the baby and we went... we split a meal and had pops and were too full for there very expensive but very delicious looking dessert and so we ended up only paying an extra $15 after the $25 gift card... $5 was a tip... so not bad for Olive Garden... I think the only time I will go there from now on though is just to have breadsticks and salad and the dessert because the meal isn't that great....

Friday night well we had left overs for dinner and had our favorite strawberries with sour cream and brown sugar... trust me it is good... you dip them in the sour cream then the brown sugar it tastes very much like carmel and believe me if prego girl enjoys it than it's gotta be good. And we watched X-Men Silver Surfer. I finally figured out a way to get my husband to watch movies with me... he has invested in NetFlix's he rents Blu-Rays which saves us money in the long run (because we don't buy them) and we can't have more than 3 movies at a time... but I get to watch movies with my husband which normally I don't.

Saturday night.... hmm... well that day we just kinda relaxed and enjoyed the rain. We ventured out and had lunch at Burger King and let Sami play in the toys (she climbed all the way to the top ) and than to Wal-Mart to get a few necessity's.... than home. I crafted and Dave played Wii and we just had a blast it was nice...

That is what the picture is from above. I have decided to enjoy having a small bag until September and so I transfered to a smaller purse and so I am using pictured back pack as a diaper and wipe holder for the car for when we are out and about... it frees up a ton of room and Sami love having it on her back.

Sunday... here is Sami all ready for church in her last new outfit from Aunt Suzie... I even put a bit of moose in her hair to curl it up... she looked super cute... Here she is in the works of walking... yes I am now the proud mother of a walker... I know she will be running soon and I will be investing in a back pack leash thing... to keep track of her. But it is so cute seeing her walk around. She will still knee walk but it is less than the walking so that is a bonus! I have videos of her but I forget how to upload those so I will add them later when my husband helps me. Than she grabbed the camera and was wanting to take pictures and so while Daddy was finishing getting ready we took some fun shots... not a big smile but so cute... she looks way grown up. And one of her self portraits... the binkie rash isn't very attractive sorry!

After church I wasn't feeling well had a head ache and so Sami napped and David drew and I watched "Nights on the Rodanthe" I love Diane Lane's hair in that by the way... well the beginning before the wig. It was good...

At 3:45 Jeff, Dave's dad came over and we finished getting ready than followed him out to Brad and Phyllis house on the river in Pasco... they have one of those beautiful houses that back right up to the river and they don't have to get rid of there dock because it was built before 1986 so lucky them. There we hung out and talked and than ate to our hearts content Phyllis yummy hoemade food.

Gotta say and I can honestly say this I have never had such good mashed potatoes or rolls in my life (well Grandma and Grandma Lula cook this good too). She made the best food. Her roast was so good it ripped only one way on the grain and in pieces and I didn't need any sauce because it was so tasty. I loaded my plate up and thought well maybe I can finish this whole thing and I did... wow... she also had a yummy salad with healthy stuff in it and asparagus, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts with this sauce over them.... oh so yummy. I went back for seconds on the asparagus and salad. Than for dessert she had lemon and strawberry pie... I had the strawberry pie... she had huge chunks of strawberry in it... oh wow... I have eaten a lot of good cooking by family but sorry family I love you and love your food but I would rather take Aunt Phyllis stuff over any one else's any day... good thing we only eat there once a year... I guess she has a published cook book so I am going to get one soon... wow.... this just made me way hungry!
