Curtains... Finally!!!

Yesterday, was a very eventful day. We met Grandma Shirley at Home Depot so she could help me buy my curtain rods. Went and had a snack at McDonalds, with Grandma, to Target and than came home. I got busy ironing my curtains and watching a movie I borrowed from my buddy Rachel "Foul Play" staring Goldie Hawn, and Chevy Chase. His first motion picture it said on the back. I did however miss parts of the movie where there was a large snake. Thanks Rachel for forgetting to tell me that, I am not mad... by my saying that I don't expect those who I borrow movies from to be on top of things I may or may not like... that is not there job. But yes... didn't watch the parts with the snake in it. It was a pretty cute 80's or whatnot movie. It was even funny in parts. The earliest Goldie Hawn movie I have seen was "Overboard" so it was good of her.
While I was watching the movie and ironing, Sami put her free time to use. This is an example of messes I clean up every evening before she goes to bed. I am not complaining because every mother experiences this. That box, she dumps out all the Mr. Potato Heads and sits in the box.
Sami has turned into her mischievous stage otherwise known as terrible two's.
When we got home, she still had her jacket on, and than sometime she took her pants off, because they are kinda too big around the waist. Previous to this picture, it had gotten really hott in our house after we had gotten home from running our errands. And so I had let her hang out in her onsie until we had to go pick her dad up from work. So I guess she just figured she needed to be in her onsie again.
Back to the picture. I took the picture to remind myself that appearances can be deceiving. I figured for probably 10 min or so, don't know exactly how long, that she had her diaper on. As you can see by the picture, you can't see that part of her because it is covered up by her shirt... and so when I glanced at her a few times after her pants being off, I didn't think twice. Than I went to put her pants back on because our house was cooling down, and saw a wet diaper on the floor and than realized she wasn't wearing one. I laughed, she laughed but was cold, and I took the picture to remind myself of how she can take her diaper off when she has no pants on.
This picture is pretty funny though. She is smiling at the camera but because of the tilt of her neck you can't tell... she cracks me up. I kept saying smile, and she would but with her head up like that. (oh, she only pied on the carpet once, so it couldn't have been off long). These are my curtains. I have been planing since August to buy curtains for our family room windows. It didn't get to bother me as much, until the temperatures dropped and sitting on the couch you would feel a nice cold breeze. We had blankets up tacked over our windows for pretty much all of Decemeber. Than I decided I want curtains and broke down and bought them. I bought two packages at Target. Because there are two windows, and I wanted them more than covered. They were each $17.99 a package... so bargain. I love Target. I also got 4 panels for when we move that is the best part about curtains, you can use them wherever. (my sis-n-law reminded me that when I told my husband I was going to be buying a curtain rod, he said that he liked the way we had it before with the different colored blankets tacked over our windows.... your right NaDell such a guy!)  As I was saying prior I went to "Lowe's" with my mom's expertise in the stock of that store she helped me find a curtain rod, fendlings (things that go on the end) and brackets. I spent $35.00 just about. Well. Than we went to get our snack and she went home. I than decided just for the sake of it I would once again go price Target's curtain rods, to make sure I am getting the best deal, I do this a lot! I knew I had seen these curtain rods, and love the leaf fendlings, on the end, but didn't know if it also came with brackets to hold it all on the wall. Well bingo. got the rod, fendlings, and bracets all for $25.00 and I like it a lot, a lot better. Thanks mom though, but what can I say every cent counts.
Figured I needed to have a picture so you can see that there really are windows there. They have tie backs that match the rod and so some day I will finish it off with those. I am crazy I know but I love decorating so much, and I love Target.... my fav store ever. Seriously I am there 2-3 times a week and most the time it's just looking. But any excuse to go there.
What else. I told you all about that excitement in our lives. Well there is more of course. The wind has kept us up in this little house we are in, and shockingly Sami sleeps through it. But seriously if the wind stopped it would be really really nice weather. It's basically t-shirt weather already.
I was supposed to go to a luncheon for our ward RS today and I was getting out of the shower when I got really, really sick. I than spent about the next 10-15 min in the bathroom fixing the problem. I don't know what it is because if I am pregnant this is really weird morning sickness, nothing I have ever heard of. It has been going on for about 1 1/2 to 2 wks now... but not every day, so I don't know but when it hits, it's really painful and I feel like I am going to die... I have asked the doctor previously and she says it could be because I am exercising regularly but seriously... yucky!  So don't get to excited we aren't going to be making any announcements soon about the P word but time will tell I guess.
Hope everyone has a good day and boy I am so sick of reading the "Twilight" Books. I am almost done with breaking dawn and it is annoying the crap out of me. I just want to find out what happens.... they are good don't get me wrong, but so addicting that it's annoying me so bad. Yeah... maybe someone understands.

Good job on the curtains. They look great! It was funny the other day when David said that he liked the blankets up better. He's such a guy.
Have fun finishing the book.

Sounds like someone needs to make an announcement on the McClellan Family blog!
