We had a good day today of course, it all began when Sami got up around 5 am and didn't go back to sleep and so at 6 David got up because I got up at 5 and so it was his turn. I slept in until 7:30 when I got up to get ready for my piano recital. At 9:15 am we left the house and headed over to the church where we were going to be having the piano recital...
This is a picture of Sami not to happy because she was crying and whining all morning and not feeling good. She has had this horrible cough and after trying one medicine and it being almost gone since she has had a on off runny nose for awhile now, I tried something new Tylenol Cold and it seems to be working YEAH!!!!
Here we are after the piano recital as we are posing while several different people are snapping pictures. These are my 3 students and they played so great... I am so proud of them I actually feel success as a piano teacher even more, they are the cutest piano students ever and I can't wait to have another student hopefully at the beginning of the year. The boys are twins, the one cocking his head is Heath and the other is Troy. The girl is Rilee and I love playing with her hair, and I am always doing that during piano lessons and she is such a good sport she doesn't mind, I guess she must like me. They are all in kindergarten this year and they all were having a not so good week since delays they didn't have school they were (well there moms) have been having a hard time.
When we got home after my parents so graciously took us out for lunch, we put Sami down for the rest of her nap, She fell asleep during a trip home during the recital for Dad to change her pants, those dang diapers. Oh well.... Since it had been 4 hours I doped her up again and well I guess it worked well because we had to wake her up around 5:30 to go to a friends party... so a good 4 1/2 hours... she needed it, her nose running is subsiding and not as much cough.... no I don't drug my child to get her to sleep... can't tell you how many times I went in to check on her it makes me worried when she sleeps that long, especially with medicine in her.

We went to a graduation party for Dave's friend Ryan and it was at the Pratt's. We took the kids downstairs to play and I took a few pics of Sami having a good time, the long nap paid off, I think she was the only kid that didn't cry, except Cu-tie Claire that I have never heard cry.
I am not explaining the pics they should be self explanatory. Well hope that I am not boring anyone too much but Tis the Season to capture memories with so much going on. Oh the girl helping Sami dunk a basketball is Stacie, we were at her house, Sami had just dropped the ball right before I took the picture.

Take care and most likely I will not have any news for a few days!
