Sara's 32nd Birthday

Thank goodness, that I only get older once a year... 32 YIKES!!! I read books where the moms are 32 and they have 15 year old sons... that would make them very young but seriously to have my oldest only be 5, I feel pretty old... Especially since she's starting school tomorrow.
My birthday would be amazing if....
my van fix is going to be cheap, hopefully we will find out today.
We had money to go eat fancy... Olive Garden it up!
I had lost the weight I wanted to by now...
my house cleaned it's self
if my cholesterol wasn't so high, and I didn't have to feel guilty eating ice cream and baked goods

but my birthday is going to be amazing because...
I have a husband, and 3 kids that love me A LOT!!! and I love them!
I can fit into my size 10 Old Navy jeans I bought at Value Village for $3
having friends over tonight for family home evening, pizza, ice cream and home made cheesecake
the high today is 68! perfect weather!
and since we have no money right now... my birthday gets to extend to the end of the month when I get my present...

Ok, obviously I wrote this at two different times because hey... I got my present... finally lol!
This past Tuesday, we got a friend of the family Taylor Ayling who is 13, to come watch the girls for us while we went out to celebrate my birthday and have one last date before Dave started school Wednesday. We left the house around 4 and got home around 6:30 pm, it was a nice long date!
We drove out to the Valley because I needed to get my present, so as we arrived out there we surveyed all the restaurants for what we would want to eat, and out of my choice of:
Gourmet Pizza
Martini Bar
Ihop
Outback
Azteca

guess what I chose? Yep that's right Azteca! Yummy! Well it was at the time. So we ate there, and Ezra wasn't as good as he was on our last date he actually didn't sleep the whole time but go figure he is 4 mo old now not 1 mo. Me and Dave practically ordered the same thing. Dave got the Chicken Taquito Apetizer and I got the Chicken Taquito Combo Meal. His came with like 6 or 8 Taquitos and mine came with 4 and rice and beans which I love and rarely get. We ate our chips and I asked for a side of Refried Beans... I love them but rarely eat them (big no no) and I pigged out. Our dinner was great and I even splurged and had regular Dr. Pepper not diet, cause hey It was my Birthday celebration.
We left there and I needed to go to Down East to get some tank top/under shirts... they are awesome there and they are the only ones I can find that are long enough but not low in the front... Old Navy ones work if you wear them backward... (which I do when I work out)
It took us awhile to find the place because they moved it... (tells you how often we go to the mall), and well it was still there but this new store H&M is coming in there (a cheap clothing store apparently, and it takes up half the mall, I am interested to check it out once it opens, and I have money.
Well it was great at Down East... it's one of those stores I put on my "when my husbands loaded I will shop here" list... every decent thing is $50 except there sale rack and tank tops... which the tank tops are $10 but the last time I bought some was before Ezra was born, they last that long... I wouldn't reccomend buying the ones with the lace on the bottom because the lace rips and than it looks like crap! I get one in white and one in black and they go with everything I wear, I do wear the white one more... but I love them and they are good quality... I didn't get a bigger size when i was pregnant it helped suck it all in for a bit, lol.
Well I decided to look around and see if I could find something else cheap... and low and behold I found this cute thing...

I try and on and yeah it fits, bonus it was $7 so even bigger bonus and it's super cute with the side flare thing that goes over you thigh... and of course modest.. I rarely wear long skirts or dresses... I have nice calves so I show them off any chance I get... (gloat gloat)
well when we got back in the car I realized that hey... that price didn't sound right and so I checked out my receipt and low and behold it was 50% off the $7 and so I only paid $3.50 for this skirt that hello was normally $50 dollars... SCORE!!!

Oh and back to the top picture... after the mall we went to Nordstrom Rack and I found these cute kicks... $50 which I never spend that much on shoes except when I know I will wear them a lot... my feet aren't growing anymore so spending $50 on a pair of tennis shoes I can totally do since I know I will wear them for the next few years... I needed something comfy for working out and it was the one thing I wanted for my birthday! Thanks Baby!
Ok... so back track to my actual birthday. My birthday was on a Monday and Saturday my parents came up to go to my dad's bosses birthday party in Spokane.
Dave was at work and so they hung out with me and the girls... the van was of course in the shop so we squished into there truck and went to lunch at McD's our tradition... come visit me we go to McD's..  there's other places to eat but it's the best...
Well they brought me and Daph our birthday presents. And I decided I wanted to start cutting Dave's and Ezra's hair. We were getting free hair cuts in exchange for piano lessons but I am just so overwhelmed with the 3 kids and the house cleaning and my calling and Dave not being home I had to call it quits... so with that comes having to find a way to save money... I rarely need my hair cut and Dave is an every monther and so I am going to learn how to cut his hair... and than once Ezra is a boy enough to need his hair cut than i can do his too... so I am all set and excited... we are waiting til Dave's hair is good and long before I butcher it.. he's not afraid he trust me.
Getting ready to go out for the afternoon for my birthday fun... Ezra... saluting his approval!
Ok, so sad story I had my heart set on eating at Taco Time, and we went there and it was closed... I was bummed good thing there was a Panda near by to calm my sadness.... I told Dave the reason I like eating here is because I love Panda's... it's not completely true I do love Panda's but I also love there food! I told the girls to sit close and smile... this was the best one... Sami is posing!
Dave drinking and Ezra chilling... and the sky outside is filled with the smoke from all the fires... and a overcast day!

So 32 is gone and maybe 33 I will actually get my presents on the day of my birthday. My friends came over and we had pizza and cheese cake. My two oldest sisters called, and my youngest and mom texted me. My friend gave me a box of Carmel bites like Junior mints but carmel... and the Relief Society brought me jam, and my oldest sister sent me a gift card for Itunes which I bought the Emma Episodes the newest one with Ramona Girialli (whatever) in it... I haven't even finished watching it... I love it though. And oh did I mention that I gave a talk the 9th on Sabath Day Observance... I was told it went well and in exception to Daphne running up on the stand and the girls having to take long time outs in the rooms when we got home from church... it was an ok day!

Sometimes it's nice to be celebrated the whole month. Cute skirt. You'll have to take a picture in that. =)
