Too Much Information!

I am sorry to any that read this and are offended but this is my blog and I get things on my mind that I have to vocalize.
It just seems that no matter what I do... get on Pinterest, Facebook, whatever but there is always a case of missing person or person found dead etc... posted all over the place. Yeah it's sad, and yeah if I knew someone that had been kidnapped I would want to find them but telling about what happened and all the goorey details is just too much information.
I have started blocking and deleting friends on Facebook that always have some depressing news link, or what not... I get on those sites to communicate with friends and family share happy news and thoughts through out the day not read some depressing article, so if you are deleted from my Facebook account you will know why. I don't care to hear your opinion on the presidential election, gay and lesbian crap or what not... it's not enjoyable... the election is months away and gay and lesbian stuff is just plain nasty.
I am a Mormon mom of almost 3 kids we don't watch cable television because when we had it I didn't do anything else... we are big fans of Netflix and Disney movies... we invite good wholesome learning and fun shows into our home not commercial television crap. I never want to have it... it's a waste of time and money in my opinion. This way Sami can watch Sesame street episodes over and over again and she is learning so much and Daphne the same with Dora... my kids can count in Spanish and know more Spanish words than I care to learn... this is wholesome... not as wholesome as no TV but get real this is not the age of no TV... we don't have a backyard, we don't live in a pretty decent house with stairs and different rooms, or in a nice environment where it's nice to go outside... so the fun we have is home based... puzzles, letters, coloring... you name it we do it...
So please unless it's your own personal family news... I don't want to hear about where they found so and so and why they were like that whatever... if i want to know I will go read the news and than know why later I am having nightmares! On that same note... I finally watched Breaking Dawn the other day... I am sorry but there is so much blood in the end of that movie it's disgusting... i fast forwarded through the entire birthing scene... they drew that part out way too long! I am excited to go see Hunger Games here in the next couple weeks, (no not on opening night I am not that desperate) but I will be interested to see how that plays out since the books were so good but very interesting!

I agree with all that missing person stuff (unless you actually KNOW the person who is missing and it's likely they are in your area and then it's a whole different thing.) And no, I don't want to know about every food processing horror story. Yuck.
Nothing wrong with movies for kids.
You keep them balanced and go to the park when the weather is nice. You're doing great!
Andy and I are going to watch Hunger Games. He's reading the book now. I'm excited! As for Breaking Dawn, I'll watch that eventually...
