So being in Cheney is starting to get a lot more comfortable. We are going to attempt to move up to Campus Married housing in the Spring to something that is a tad bigger, but for now we are just fine, it gives me time to de-clutter! It's harder than you think it is!
Well this last Saturday one of my Mia Maids family was having a Yard Sale for a lady in our ward who is moving and they were selling a set of bunk beds with a mattress included. I checked it out and despite boy stickers stuck all over the place it was a great buy for $40. So we hauled it home and I realized... hey no instructions. So I found the model number searched it online and discovered this is the set that was recalled in May due to a breakage in the boards that support the top bunk. So I called the company and requested my fix-it kit and she in turn emailed me the instructions of how to put the bed together. Something about me must have told her I was Spanish speaking (which I am not) and so the directions were in Spanish, but thank goodness for pictures it got put together.

It's a little high right now because this is kind of two beds in one until we get the fix-it pieces for the top bunk. I am excited though, now with the $260 bucks I saved I have money to make them quilts and a matching curtain for there bedroom. Once we move the crib will be stored and they will be in bunk beds it will be great I am thrilled. Oh and to Sami they aren't bunk beds they are "bumpy beds" so funny!
Well what else has been going on. I have been sick this week with a cold and so my house has taken a back seat. I am about 2 days behind in my house cleaning which means that I will never get caught up because you have to work on it every day when you have two rascals that are tornado's, one who does it because she can (and gets in trouble) and the other who does it because she is naughty. I swear all my friends with kids Daphne's age, they all treat them like they are older and I feel like I am missing something. She isn't two yet, not ready for a big girl bed, and she rarely talks... she is smart and is a busy body but seriously this girl is driving me crazy. She makes messes like she is 18 mo not almost 2 and the only time I ever get anything done is when she is napping... with Sami it was a lot easier by this time with being a destructor... but than again Sami was barely walking at this age oh gosh crazy kids I have!
Besides my crazy kids I fill my days with trips to the wadding pool, cross-stitching, reading books, and cooking. The heat has hit Cheney and I am sadly wanting it to go away which it will in about a month I am told and than the snow will hit... I am excited to experience a white winter and see how people live with cold weather. Besides that Dave starts school in September on the 21 and we will be basically living off our loans for the next 2 1/2 years or so. Dave will continue on at GNC part time bringing in less than $1,000 a month but hey... we gotta get it done now while we can!
Well hope all is well! Have a good rest of your summer!
