Sutton Park

Since my transmission on my van went out I have been wanting to invest in another mode of transportation other than just walking and so with part of my Event earnings, I purchased a bike and trailer. I already have a bike but after adding up how much it would cost it to fix it, it would be the cost of a new bike. So on Walmart. com I found a bike for $67 and a trailer for $88 and so i was sold. They delivered the bike Friday, and the trailer Saturday and I ordered it Monday... so pretty fast, and it was to our house since we would have had no way to transport it otherwise, I am a big Walmart.com shopper especially if it's site to store because they don't charge you shipping.
So Friday i was feeling a little down in the dumps and than just as I was wondering about my bike it was on my front door step. It took me a couple hours to get all set up since it was in pieces but it was 2 hours well spent, it rides like a dream.
Daphne has really amazed me lately she does some pretty out of the ordinary stuff... this day she was standing watching TV and she kept holding her hand behind her back... she still has it behind in this picture but she has it dropped a bit... so funny for a little girl to do.
Saturday it was a spectacular day, one of the best ones we have had and so after the trailer arrived I made a lunch and loaded up the kids and rode to the park. I know there are more parks in town but this is the only one i've found... it was up a giant hill and so I think we will search for a different one, but it was pretty close to our house despite the hill.
Here it is, my new bike and trailer... are you surprised that it's red... it was between a red one and a green one... I wanted red! Of course!
There was a party at the park and so the little girls kept laughing at silly Daphne... they thought she had gotten this carrot off the ground, I reassured them no. One of the girls I found out is the daughter of a ward choir member who lives not far from us. Pretty fun.
That morning I made jello molds for easter... and the girls enjoyed them.
Our spread. I brought a blanket but than realized I should have brought a table cloth and so I just used the blanket... it worked great.
The park... I wish I could have gotten a view from the park of the city... I feel like we live in the mountains because it's so wooded here...
Eastern.. just right across the street... there were college kids hanging out at the park playing horse shoes, and in there shorts... it was only 53 but it felt a lot warmer! I got some sun on my chest... where my shirt circled.
Daphne and another one of her silly things... when she is eating multiples of something she just stacks them up like a sandwich and eats them that way... she did this the other day with 2 granola bars... I took one away... but with chips it's just funny! Way to save time when you get as hungry as this little girl always is!

cute pictures. looks like you have a fun park. I love all the pine trees. It reminds me of georgia. I'm sorry you have snow. It's been nice, a little chilly wind, but bearable. Atleast no snow. That's the main reason why I wouldnt want to move back to Idaho Falls, too long of a snow season. But it's nice to have family where you can visit that isnt so cold. ;)
