Mason Family 2010
This year has been good to the Mason’s and here are some family highlights:
Daphne, our youngest, celebrated her 1st birthday this year. It wasn’t until October when she finally started to grow some hair. She loves to play with anything that her big sister plays with and, at times, that can be a little rough, but Daphne is quickly learning how to hold her own. She is about to start walking and, in the mean time, that hasn’t slowed her down; she still gets into just as much stuff. She loves to eat, and you better be willing to share anything with her if she sees you eating. She also out eats her sister 3-1. She is a joy, and we are grateful that she is a part of our family. She’s definitely a mama’s girl and is different from her sister more every day.
Samantha is 3 1/2 and hasn’t stopped growing. She is our tall skinny girl and is just as sassy as ever. She attends pre-school at home, and a friend comes over to have lessons with her. She is very smart and loves to put together puzzles. Her favorite day of the week is Sunday. She loves nursery. We have discovered that any form of Little Mermaid will make her happy. Her favorite place to eat is McDonald’s. When we can’t find her, we know she is in the bathroom going potty or playing in with the sink faucet while brushing her teeth. She is so intrigued by the bathroom, we call her our little scientist as she likes to pour water into a variety of plastic cups.
Sara turned the big 3-0 this year and still doesn’t look a day over 18. She got called to the primary presidency at our ward. She serves as the 2nd counselor and is constantly in a rush on Sunday mornings. She still does the Ransom Made Design business with her mom, aunt, sisters and various friends. In her free time, she likes to read and take a bath. She is a good mother and wife, and keeps us eating healthy. She also enjoys a good work out and loves when she gets to sleep in.
David will be 32 in February, and the years are starting to show in his wisdom and good looks. He will graduate with his AA, Spring of 2011. Then, we’ll be moving to Cheney Washington where he’ll attend Eastern Washington University to obtain a degree in 3-D Animation and Game Design. He worked for Campbell and Company earlier this year. Unfortunately, he got laid off from Campbell, but he ended up getting a management job at his old stomping grounds, GNC, in Pasco. He enjoys the work and it keeps him very busy. He serves as a scout leader and primary teacher at our ward. It’s great pay back for how naughty of a kid he was at that age. He is a great dad and an amazing husband. He loves his family dearly!
We hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
