So the day and weekend went down with out a fight. Friday September 10 was the big 3-0 and it was not as depressing as I thought it would be. I started the day by getting ready for the day so when I took my husband to work at 10 I could get some stuff done. Dave made me waffles for breakfast. It's not out of the ordinary for us to have waffles for breakfast... a weekly thing but it was still nice that I didn't have to do it.
When I dropped him off we headed back into town and hit up the DMV. I brought the girls along and the double stroller. We got there I loaded them up and went in. It took me all of 15-20 min from entrance to exit. I paid, sat down, they called my name... now I have a very zoomed in cheesy smile to last me for the next five years.
Than I headed to Richland. I was going to be meeting my mom and sisters at Tumbleweeds, home of the best chicken taco salads, for lunch and so I just headed over there anyways. We have been searching for a 2 drawer filing cabinet because our is a piece of crap (if you have one your off loading, please let me know), and so I hit up the Goodwill in search. No such luck but I did come home with an adorable Circo brand dress for Daphne for $1, "Divinci Code" and "Matilda" to add to my collection of books I want to read. Than we headed to lunch. After lunch we came home and the girls went down for naps. Since they are repainting our building they have been scrapping off the old paint and they started with our building so they take a break for lunch than start back up at 1:30 and so no naps for two days, it was great.
The plan was to pick up Dave at 4 from work and than drop the girls off at Andy and NaDell's while we went to "Casa Mia" for dinner. Well to make a long story short and leave out the ever so private details... some unwanted crap happened so than we were in no mood to go out and eat a nice meal on a private date... I wasn't feeling so hot anyways and was exhausted of the days events already, so we just did what we normally do on the 10th of each month. Dave went and got the Garlic Chicken pizza from Papa Murphy's and we devoured it and than around 8 we went and got ice cream from McDonald's. It wasn't by any means what I wanted to have done for my birthday those plans went out the window when Dave lost his job, but it was just fine, and I loved spending the time with my husband and girls.
Sunday we did the normal my parents house desert. My mom made cupcakes. She has been watching this cupcake lady show and it inspired her.
It was fun though. I had a great birthday weekend.
Daphne devoured her cupcake... good practice since she turns 1 in 10 days exactly. I got spoiled though, besides the dinner and ice cream and cupcakes. My parents got me a gift card to Old Navy and I went and spent it this morning. I got some great deals, and hope that someday it will get cooler to wear my fall clothes. One sister got me a Itunes gift card, which I used to get some great songs I have been wanting, another sister got me a tank top to wear under stuff... so cute, another sister got me some cute turquoise earrings, brother got me a gift card to target, I got various cards. I bought myself a bag of halloween candy, the pumpkins and candy corn... so good. Dave was going to get me a new cricut because mine isn't doing well, but when he lost his job I settled for just new cartridges and saved us $200 because my cricut still works enough. They were supposed to be here like in 3-4 weeks and after a week they were here. SO excited. Just in time to make some new cards for the event... I got Wild Card, which has so much awesome stuff that it's too exciting, and Zoo Balloo. I haven't even dug into that one yet...
These cards are from my Wild Card Cartridge...
I love making cards... I wish I could spend every day making cards... but than it's depressing when no one buys them... I do have a pretty good cliental though. Enjoy the rest of your September. Now I gotta finish getting ready for our event this weekend than concentrate on Daphne's birthday... small and quaint but super fun!

Matilda is one of my favorites. Happy late birthday!! Sorry about Dave's job. Hopefully the reason is that he needs to be available for something even better =) Also, I was thinking of calling to see if you have a cricut cartridge for some jungle animals for Tate's party invites. I'll give you a call. Cute cards!
I'm glad you had a fun birthday and new cricut cartridges are always fun!
