Dave's dad Jeff took us to the Hermiston Fair and Rodeo on Friday night and we had a great time.
He bought us some dinner from the USA subs that I guess his farm company owns. They didn't have subs just hamburgers and cheese fries. I felt a little bad watching cows and eating a hamburger, but I told Jeff that my cow had died of natural causes, so I didn't feel bad.
Sami shared Daddies hot dog....
Can you tell we got great seats, this is the second time we have gone and we always sit right in front.
This is when they were doing the paired up steer roping. Where they would ride out together and one guy would slide off his horse and land on the cow and flip him on his back... They had a hard time sometimes. I enjoyed watching these but not the bucking ones, they freaked me out I just kept thinking about the movie "8 seconds" no one got seriously hurt though. One dude fell on his shoulder and he was fine, and one dude fell on his leg and he was fine and one steer got hurt but they announced later he was fine.
On our way out Jeff bought us some ice cream, it was a good night. Thanks again Jeff! We have been throughly blessed this week. Dave's mom Barb brought us a bag of food which included corn salsa, bread, home grown vegetables etc.
Dave is still plugging away looking for a job, and getting everything sorted out. It's been great having him home though. I woke up Saturday with a cold that got worse and so today (Sunday) he took Sami to Stake Conference and I stayed home and rested with Daphne. Mrs. D has been a pill lately. (she is in the process of coming to find me while crying) she is a little sick but she is just a complainer... but all in all we are doing pretty good just keep moving!

Sorry you are sick. I love Rodeo's! They can be so fun to watch. My favorite is the Rodeo Clowns.
Looks like a really fun night!!
So fun. Good luck with the job search. We will keep you guys in our prayers.
