So, this week I have been babysitting my nephew Vincent while his parents took his two older sisters, Elizabeth 7 and Olivia 4 to Disneyland. Vincent is only 2 and so he is not tall enough to go on most of the rides or any... and so he spent Monday - Thursday with us. His parents pick him up tonight. It hasn't been awful, he is not a bad kid, he is a really good kid and tries to mind really well, it's just that I am used to just having my 2 kids and so an extra child running around, arguing, and tantruming is not fun! Him and Sami have been co-conspiritors and have been teasing each other, being naughty together, and want to do everything that the other one is doing, this is basic behavior for kids this age but when you aren't used to it, it's no fun, no fun at all (are you feeling sorry for me yet?)
On Tuesday is was semi warm and not near as nice as Monday, I am starting to think that I am not a fan of the wind, and the warm weather teasing us, but than again this is Kennewick the weather is just not dependable. One day one thing than 24 hours later something completely off. Least it's not snowing. We spent a lot of time outside that day. I had boughten these cups of ice cream you know the really good ones with the orange and vanilla mixed that you eat with the wooden spoon it comes with in the package. Well we have a huge yard area behind our apartment complex (well in the middle) and so I grabbed the kids, the ice cream and headed down. We live on the top floor and so it's a walk for us. I forgot the special wooden spoons and so I had them use the card board top to scoop out the ice cream with. They quickly got the hang of it. We also brought down a ball to kick around, and they were more interested in the pool that was behind a fence. I can't tell you how many times they said... "Look, Water" and everytime I would say, "Yeah it's a pool, we can't go in" hmmm... what did they want me to say?
I packed Daphne around on my front in a carrier, as you can tell she was perfectly happy!
10 min later, still the same face!
This is the picture of the lilac bush outside my window... I like this picture and I submitted it to a photo contest... probably won't win but I like it! Good example of Spring, shorts and a lilac bush, since anyone who knows about lilac bushes know there life is short lived, they bloom for about 2 mo of the year, and so you just gotta enjoy them while they last. Well, it's been a crazy, tiring week. Last night we got Vincent to bed and than Sami and Daphne were up on the couch with Dave while I showered. When I got done I came out and Sami was almost asleep and Daphne was zoonked and so I took the opportunity to go read a book on my bed, and relax. I got 3 pages in and was out. It was only like 10:00 or so. The next thing I knew was that Daphne was crying and I woke up confused and realized it was 3:30 am and everyone was in bed. I felt bad, but my husband gets and A for letting me sleep! I asked him about it this morning and he said that he came in to see what I was doing and I was snoring... and he just left me alone. Thanks baby I love you!

Oh your time will come for three kids...I say that like I know what it's like, I just know your own kids are so much easier then other peoples. Daphne is getting huge, what a cutie!
Can you imagine twins?!? Haha! My kids always were more imaginative and mischievious when they had a conspirator. What a nice auntie you are to watch him!!
I'm so glad they had fun! I'm glad you had a little break in there too. Vincent had a great time and so did we, especially watching all the people with babies in Disneyland! They had these huge sections of stoller parking and for each ride, you had to take your kid out to go over to the ride they couldn't go on and then stick them back in the stroller. What a fun day for a toddler, right? You are awesome!
