Busy New Month!

So as of course a New Year has started and with that a new school quarter for David... and many other responsibilities for him as well, it just seemed like he has just been dumped on.
He was recently called to be the Webelos Scout leader for our ward and with that comes many other things. This week alone he has spent about 5-6 hours doing Scout stuff, just scout stuff. Meeting Sunday night, his main calling Wednesday night with the boys, than again last night for a Round Table meeting. He is enjoying it and is very grateful to have such a great calling, he is just not trying to get stressed out. He also teaches the boys in Sunday school/Primary on Sundays and so now I don't get to see him during Sunday School and he can't take Daphne for Relief Society which he loves to do, and I have to take Sami to nursery and take care of her completely if anything goes wrong... I am still learning this whole 2 kid thing at church, it's a bit overwhelming. We just usually do man on man during all three meetings... not anymore. And well he is back in school. He fortunately takes on line classes so he doesn't have to go out to the school 3 times a week. He is taking C++ and Access for Computer Programming degree. He is doing the Bridges program through CBC. We will be at CBC as long as we can. We get more money if he is going to CBC than to WSU TC. Well anyways oh yeah and he started his new job the first Monday of the Year. He works for Campbell & Comp. the former Campbell & Bruce. He works in the warehouse. He loves the new job. He has been sucked into there trips to the Quick-y Mart that is across the street, I guarantee the only reason they're in business is because they are all over there all the time. He works 7-4 and so if I want the car I get it when he comes home on lunch break (which is now an hour) or i have to get up at the butt crack of dawn to take him to work, hasn't happened yet. So yes a very overwhelming year so far, and I see less and less of my husband as more things get shoved his way... I have fallen under the radar apparently and have not gotten a calling but I did tell them Primary is a pain with a new born and so they haven't done that to me. We shall see. Maybe I am the non calling person in the family since Dave has like 3 almost.
This was his first Computer Programming assignment he achieved for C++ he had to take a picture. It was funny I was listening to his teacher talk about the syllabus and she gave all these examples of points and when you would get them it was pretty funny. He achieved all points possible. He is so excited for this stuff... but can't honestly tell me how much school he has left... I fear I will never have a house. I was changing this girls pants and well look at those rolls I just gotta show you how cute they are... Sami never had these.... Oh yeah and check out how she loves that hand... she is my hand sucker... if it's not her hand it's who ever's hand is closest to her mouth... i will be sitting there, holding her and all of a sudden I feel sucking on my hand... She is getting so big. and Cute! Of course! But I could definitely do with out the tantrums... it gets a little ridiculous sometimes. Sami never did that but than again Sami wasn't a happy baby as often as Daphne is. She is already wanting to crawl... Last night she got upset because I got loud and was getting after Sami. Than I got her calmed down and than for no reason she started in again. I had to take her in the other room and let her just get through it... she did this off and on for half hour than finished eating fell asleep for the night... goodness at least! She is so silly! Poor baby though has got a major clogged tear duck. It doesn't seem to be improving. I think we will just wait until she is a little older than do the root out to make it better...
Oh update on the car... we still don't have it back but got a rental last week. It's a nice fancy Chevy Malibu more gadgets than i know what to do with. And apparently did you know that any kind of an impact on a car you want to replace the car seats... there might not be any visual damage but the damage isn't always visual. Your insurance will usually pay to replace them... so yeah I get to go shopping for new car seats... fun. And did you know that car seats expire? It's written on the bottom of them. And they're are new retrictions for weight and age limits on the booster's you want to have both of them met, even if you read the box and it says something and you qualify you still want to check with a doctor... if you have your child in the wrong seat you can be given a ticket... or at least that is what I have heard!
well enjoy! And hopefully your new year hasn't been as stressful as ours.

I'm glad David seems to be juggling well.
You'll have a house soon enough (and way more to clean too!)
Maybe Daphne seems like she's having tantrums because she was such a good baby and you didn't have the build up you did with Sami.
Also, I found something in one of my baby magazines about blocked tear ducts. I'll just type out what it says.
"Common within the first few months, this happens because the duct is small at birth and normal secretions can clog it. To treat it, you can "milk" the tear duct by gently rubbing it outward (it's located under the eye, on the inside corner). This should force the goop out and unblock the duct. If you see green goo, the area is infected, and your doctor can prescribe a topical antibiotic."
Hope that helps.
Have fun car seat shopping. Yeah, car seats are only good for seven years because the plastic degrades over time. I HATE seeing those really old white infant seats that you KNOW are 10-15 years old and I have even told people I don't know that after seven years, you need a new one. And yes, any impact on them can cause them to not be as safe as well. Sorry about all the rambling. That's the way I am.
Have fun at home crafting and kid-ing.

Love the rolls!! I'm sorry about all Dave's callings =) I get annoyed when Eric has missionary meetings and then I seriously have to remember that the pioneers had it much worse =) Pretty retarded to compare, I know, but I feel sorry for myself like that!

Cute family! I'm sorry to read about your car problems. We have one car too, so I know it can get tricky some times. I understand what you mean about how nice it is to get out. If you ever have the car and want to come over for a play date with the girls, we'd love to have you. Just give me a call and we can plan a time.
