Happy Halloween!

On Monday night for Family Home Evening me and the girls carved the pumpkin... Sami tried putting the guts back in the pumpkin as I was trying to gut it... I am sure I enjoyed it more than they did! I found this cute shirt for Sami I love it... she needed it... that is her new word she is learning is
sister... or sissy. She just calls Daphne "baby" she can say Daphne but it's kinda hard... so i think her
calling her sister or sissy is cute! I love to match my girls in anyway possible and usually i even try and coordinate my self with them as well... it's fun! I bought them these Halloween shirts before Daphne was born and this was the last time they were wearing them and so Dave finally reminded me and we got a few pictures of them... These pictures of Daphne are classic! Since me and Dave are on our diet we splurge once a week and today was our splurge day. We had planned to go to Round Table... so we all went as a family, it was great. I remembered to take quarters so Sami could ride there rides. He was eyeing the game all during our lunch... it was great... he said that when that game first came out it was the best ever at that time. He used to work at the arcade in the mall before it closed. This is her new smile... Once again matching outfits. they are wearing white shirts and velor pants... i love it! So we had a rough start to the evening. We headed over to the church parking lot for the trunk-or-treat. They have been doing these for years over there and well... they usually always back up your trunk to the sidewalk than there is ample room for all the cars and such... so basically easy and not organized hardly... this year (sorry if anyone gets offended) but they were trying to hard. They were trying to get everyone to back up into a circle... so when we got there at 6:20 and it started at 6:30 the circle was pretty much full... I don't get it. Why say it's a trunk-or-treat and than limit as to how many people can give out candy... you bring candy so that your giving candy and getting candy... i just didn't get it and so we bagged it... the old way worked just fine!
We were going over to my parents anyways and so we did it the old fashioned way and took Sami around to some of my parents neighbors so she could get the experience. She had more fun handing out candy with my mom at the house and dancing to the Lawerence Welk Halloween special on TV. My mom made these tunics one year for her and my dad... so I borrowed them... we tried at least! My cute ballerina's. I had been brain storming ideas for costumes and finally decided use the resources... me and my sisters all took ballet when we were young and got tutu's so I went through them. Sami is wearing one of Torrie's old costumes... and Daphne is wearing my old tutu I was probably about 5 when I wore it. Hope everyone had a good Halloween....!
