Crazy Saturday fun!

This morning as I was getting in the shower I say to my husband, what's on the agenda today. Having Saturdays off is a new thing for him and so now we get to do stuff that normal people do on Saturdays when there husband is off, yeah I am excited for the summer for sure!
I told him I needed to go by my mom's to pick up my pay check. Yes I work for my mother among many other odd jobs I do. I clean her house... She doesn't do the cleaning I do very few times does she feel like it. She keeps pretty busy teaching all her piano students and cutting wood letters... seriously that is all she does. It is in sane she is always cutting some for someone who wanted something specific... well yes and so she doesn't like to take time off to clean house and so BONUS she pays me to do it (once a week). It all started when I was living in her house after Sami was born and wanting to earn extra money, but now I have piano lessons I stopped cleaning but than she didn't like that and so now I go over usually on Fridays and clean her house... usually the same stuff but yesterday she had a list... that kept me on task especially since Sami was home with David napping so I got to just work and not be distracted.
We picked up my check than headed to the bank and deposited Dave's last Western Tool checks we got priority mail and than we hit up Dairy Queen to use one of my husbands many gift cards he got for his birthday (gotta say it's nice) Sami had fallen asleep and well she did not sleep well last night (don't know what the deal was) so we let her sleep went through the drive thru and ate in the car. I got there yummy salad but forgot about bacon... I am not big on bacon right now. After we finished we headed up to Wal-Mart to buy only just s few things but two things we always run out of... Milk and Juice... yeah I know... normal for little kids and prego people.
I also purchased my 1st step to getting ready for baby #2 this cabinet. The top pictures is Sami laughing and being goofy. I meant to take a picture of her when I first started because she is my little helper I am going to have to buy her some tools of her own. She was taking the screwdriver I wasn't using and trying to screw in my screws I had already screwed in. Here is the product before the door and shelves were added. This was the easy part, the doors hinges were the hardest part.
It was funny as Dave was loading this into the cart he was all I don't think it's going to fit in our car... I didn't think about that well I probably did but than the other thing I was thinking was "I want my cabinet today!" We fit it in... but had to hold it, well the end of up in the front seat to keep it from flying forward... it was a fun ride home. David was all I don't know when I will get around to putting this together... please... my husband can put stuff together but my family and of course my husband will back me up when I say this but, "Sara usually doesn't need help with lifting or building things..." yes I am held back where the lifting is concerned right now hence being prego and all but please.. .everything in our house that has ever had to be put together I did it... Sami's bed... 3 times, took apart a desk didn't want to use anymore... nothing gets in my way much. While I was finishing up my project Sami was on one and I had to get after her more than once to make her mind... minding is lacking these days thank you terrible two's! So she got put in her bed. I have never taken a picture of this but she stayed in there laughing and playing and saying Dadda and Momma until I finished my project... and when I finally decided I needed a break this is how I found her... that pile of stuff is the blankets and stuffed animals that are usually in her bed... can't tell you how often she does this.
I got her up and made her feel better because at that point she was crying and brought her out to watch "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" with me since we borrowed it and it needs to go back and why not... I showed her the finished product and she was approving. That bag is my roll along sewing bag my mom got me for Christmas I love it! But this cabinet will be where all my craft stuff while be kept (sad thing it's not all going to fit) so when need be I can pull it out and use it at the kitchen table than put it away when I am done... since my area for crafting is getting taken in September. I am excited though... I gotta get a child proof handle for it to keep Sami out but it is going to be great now all I gotta do is put all my stuff in there... crap!
We watched the in my opinion very disturbing movie with Johnny Depp yeah not his best character... I liked the Charlie he plays August Rush he is a cute kid but I grew up on the old one and will stick to that...
When the movie finished David wanted to get out of the house and so we went to the mall and walked around. I finally got to go in Hollister... my favorite store but it will have to wait until after I am not prego anymore...
Well I am being summoned so enjoy!

I bet that is nice having him home on Saturdays. Summers will be fun. Maybe you can take a trip or two.

Sorry you didn't like the new Willy Wonka. It was odd.
Sami's mess really looks typical. I'm sure she had several minutes of fun, right?
It was fun to have Sami over on Tuesday.
