The Office

This has been a good week... although I am probably the only mormon girl in Kennewick that didn't get to go see "Twilight" with there 'special' ward outing and get a whole theater reserved but I am going to go see it later this week....
My good friend Rachel Adams... and me have been having weekly play groups we get together usually on Wednesdays but this week it was Friday. We will either be at her house or mine and we eat lunch, the kids play, they take naps, and me and her chat it is a nice release for both of us and very fun and exciting because we are both semi working moms (her more than me) who's husbands go to school and work and we hardly see them and our kids are about a month apart in age. Her son is Kyler and just turned 18 months on the 22nd and Sami will turn 18 months next month on the 18th. We have been taking them into Nursery trying to get them used to it for the past month and today was Kyler's first time by himself but Rachel stayed in there during Sunday school to be with me. This week we got together on Friday and she came over and we watched... "Cars" with the kids and made cheesy seasoned fries and had apples and peanut butter the kids had juice and we had diet cherry pepsi. Rachel has made moving away from my old ward the Union ward so much easier since I loved that ward so much....
Rachel and me are actually 2nd cousins... Rachel's husband is Chris Adams and his grandma and mine are sisters so yeah so cool. I found out she has all 4 seasons of "The Office" and so I have been borrowing them from her.... now of course I want to buy my own, they are so funny. After "Friends" finished I never thought a show would come a long that I would love and laugh at just as much and that I would have to just keep watching my shows on DVD.... well nope "The Office" is so funny.... I finished season 3 last night and will probably finish season 4 once I get it.... crazy fun stuff... I love Pam and Jim... Pam is so funny and they deal with Dwight so funny. I love it all!
LIfe has been going pretty smooth for us here on Mason mountain.... we do pretty much the same thing every day, doesn't change a lot but that is usually how it gets when you have kids I guess.... maybe someday when our lives change (new city, out of college, more kids) it will be more exciting but for now.... we enjoy just hanging out, and watching our cute little Sami. Do you like her hair in the picture... we are going to try something new because she keeps taking out her pony and so I just figure maybe we will try without it for awhile and see what response we get. my sister Torrie saw her tonight and said she looked cute and Torrie is a pretty fashion forward kinda girl and so you never know I guess. That is one of her new shirts and new pants that she got as hand me downs from my piano lesson mom Tami.... it looks ok when she is not leaning forward expossing herself to whoever.... I guess it just goes to show she needs undershirts.... sorry...
Sami has turned into quite the character.... she says no.... alot and I answer by saying yes... and than usually she stops. And along with no's it's shaking her head no, it's good in a way to look at it positive because we always know what she wants and doesn't want.... (which is very slim in the food department).
Last night we went to go eat dinner at our friends Jeremiah and Lecia Price's house and on the way there Sami just started screaming we figured out that it probably was her mouth and gave her baby tylenol when we got there, she finally calmed down and got down and played with the girls.... they have two daughters one is Savannah and she is 5 and the other is Abigail and she is about 2- 2 1/2 cute blonde girls.... Savannah and Sami get a long better of course.... so it is fun. We had taco's.... and than watched "Walle" kind of a different type of Disney movie but ok.... it's definitely the kind of movie you'll never be able to watch while your doing something else just to have the noise on in the background because most of the movie there is no talking so you wouldn't know what was going on.
Our ward is pretty fun, 2 weeks ago we had a out lunch and we have it at sisters houses and so you just bring something and it's fun, kids are invited which is great because most of the sisters wouldn't be able to come.... that could come. Next month we are having a white elephant exchange with it... but it has to be a Christmas decoration.... I am excited but now it gets me excited for Christmas even more. This week we are having Enrichment it is just desserts, so you bring a dessert and the receipe and than someone is going to collect the reciepe's and put them so everyone can have a copy... I am excited... I love trying new things.
I started exercising this week again, I had stopped because of my thyroid not working and so I didn't have the energy and so I really have to be full bore about it this week because I will definitely be eating some yummy stuff.... so excited.
Yesterday while Dave was studying before we went to our friends house I wanted to get a new shirt because we are going to take our family picture on Thursday for our Christmas cards, and so me and Sami took a trip to the mall.... so crowded but that has advantages and disadvantages. We looked in of course all my favorites and well they are opening a Hollister and so of course I am so excited for that... my favorite store of all. We went in Old Navy though, and took advantage of the sales.... I got me a $5 shirt so cute, and David a $5.99 shirt that match somewhat and I will be able to match us with Sami, she has plenty of stuff now, so it shouldn't be a problem, I am excited to see how the picture will turn out with the colors we are going to be wearing. It's interesting sometimes how things work out so much differently than you planned them.
Well everyone take care and have a good Thanksgiving!

I want to get together with your buddy too! She's so fun the few times I've seen her. I want to get to know her better.
I'm glad you are having fun and going to enrichment things. I love ours too.
Sami is adorable as always.
Thanks for coming over to dinner. It was fun!
