I decided I would start something fun... I usually do these quizes on Myspace but I am trying to move away from My Space and so I decided to just move it to my blog and so who ever wants to copy the survey and paste it on your blog and answer the questions... Usually people Tag people for this, but since my blog is new not many people look at it.
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? wrapping it is cheaper..... I always buy two types of paper that kinda match and than use those to wrap our family presents so we don't have all the same wrapping paper under our tree. And I buy the cheapest stuff I can find! 2. Real tree or artificial? I prefer real but our first christmas I got a 4ft one for $9 at a discount and so until we are in a real house of our own we will use that... it is kid friendly 3. When do you put up the tree? The day after Thanksgiving.... to keep the holiday lasting as long as possible. 4. When do you take the tree down? after new years sometime 5. Do you like egg nog? not a big fan of eggs so nope! 6. Favorite gift received as a child? my bike... so much fun... also trampoline... (and yes it was my gift but I shared I also shared my basketball hoop, I am still sharing it, it's at my parent's house and the neighbors use it) 7. Do you have a nativity scene? Yeah, another thing I got for our first Christmas, got it discount because one of the wise men's head broke off, guess what superglue is your best friend.... ( I worked at a craftstore and got a lot of stuff at discount that would break) 8. Hardest person to buy for?
When we would do individual gifts for the bro-sis-in laws instead of what we do now a couple present... it was really hard buying for my two bro in laws, now it's pretty easy just gotta spend money 9. Easiest person to buy for? my self... sad I know but I am an open book and I usually end up helping my husband buy my gifts and of course my daughter she is 18 mo old. 10. Worst Christmas gift ever received? my parents gave me these christmas bears, one year I got the boy one year the girl... I was in middle school and in highschool and so not so much... but they were cute... but I don't know I think getting a christmas decoration as a christmas gift is annoying all together, because the joy of christmas decorations is buying them before christmas. (but I love my parents and they knew I love stuffed animals) 11. Mail or email Christmas card? Are you kidding... people actually give email cards for Christmas... come on now, I know that digital and computerized is the generation we live in but seriously how in personal. One of the joys of the season is getting REAL Christmas cards 12. Favorite Christmas Movie? hmmm... Miracle on 34th Street love, love love it.... the newer one not the black and white one... and than of course National Lamphones Christmas Vacation 13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? november... but as soon as I realize and decide it's time 14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? those christmas bears I believe i gave them to DI but I wouldn't say that was recycling 15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
all of it except for aplets and cotlets... sick like what the crap.... I especially love the chocolate covered potatoe chips my uncle from Ohio sends they were weird but now we look forward to it. 16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? clear... it;s not a candyland tree, colored on the house 17. Favorite Christmas song? Jingle bell rock..... all of them usually, but depends on who sings them 18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? hmmm i believe I haven't traveled for Christmas since 97 the year before my parents moved to Kenenwick, we went to my grandma's who was living in Kennewick, at the time I don't think we knew we were going to be permanent in that city. 19. Can you name Santas reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitsen, Rudolph (just sing the song) 20. Do you have an Angel on top or a star? well haven't found either or I like or can afford yet, but for our first Christmas we got a ornament that said "Love" that my mom gave us and it is red with glitter on it, so it's topped our tree for 2 years but I want to find a cool star this year or angel 21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? well.... Dave's tradition one Christmas eve and the rest in the morning.. but since we don't have a lot of presents yet and I grew up where we would have to wait I prefer in the morning 22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? never having enough money for all the things I would like to buy for gifts for my family and friends, I love giving gifts and finding the right ones for people,
